It's decent fun at first, but as a new player it's pretty obvious that the events aren't just pay 2 win, but they are pay 2 play. You're constantly starved of potions you need to promote your troops/equipment and so they sell you a boosted potion generator which can only be bought with cash... But then on top of that you won't get enough cards to permanently unlock the event hero unless you buy the event pass. Replaying 1 level hundreds of times to level is pretty boring.

Ray Walker, 2024-11-26I want my money back. Bought the zero ads thing, everything was working for about a week, finished the event and as soon as the next event started, ads were back in the game and it required me to pay 11.99 for no ads again SMH. Y'all are way to freaking greedy and those events last like 4 days, no way am I paying 11.99 every 4 days for no ads. Ridiculous.

R.J. Kingston, 2024-11-26The game itself is great. Lots of different upgrades and strategies involved with what to get. Heros and trinkets can play off of each other too so you can go many different directions with what you want to beef up. My issue is the ads. One in particular. The Goblin Merger ad. Why, dear lord why does it open my Google play app every time? I dont want your freakin game. And forcing my app open makes me want it even less. And unfortunately makes the game that I AM playing that much worse. Shame.
