| 2024-10-13 |  | | Honestly seems a bit basic in features. (we don't use Alexa) Main gripe is the ATS1090 powers off at times when it shouldn't. I can't find a way to disable the sleep timer(?) or adjust it to an hour or something. Very annoying. |

Alexa has a lot of flaws - it will not turn the volume up/connect to Bluetooth when told "connect to Bluetooth"/or do other things that the echo devices do. I bought this for a louder Echo type device vs the loudest=echo 4th gen and it has a lot of annoying flaws. it turns light lights on or off for example 50% of the time. |

It should automatically power up when you select an option especially streaming music from Wi-Fi. You should not have to go through needless steps and back and forth in the app. |

For example when I went to play music at night there's so much difference between level 12 and 15 on the app. 12 is low and 15 is too high. Also no way to hardcode the speakers to a certain equalizer setting. There's just no equalizer. Also why do I have to have WiFi to set it up ? What if I want to setup speakers to be totally offline. I play bass, have had a couple of the "grand surround systems" with all that expense and set-ups when they were so popular, and respect awesome musical and movie bass and sound clarity. This Yamaha, IMHO, more than satisfies my needs. |
| 2022-11-18 |  | | It connects well once you have it set up which isn't the easiest thing. it's the best to reset it at the unit it's an ATS 2090 and then I can get it to hook up again if I change the Wi-Fi then I have to start all over again and reset. A little cumbersome to work through to find the music come back-and-forth but it works. |
| 2022-11-18 |  | | Terrible app!!!! Absolutely does not work at all with Android devices, and is extremely difficult to use and glitches out even with Apple devices. My wife has a brand new iPhone 14, I have a brand new s22 ultra. The app didn't work with either until, with extreme patience, I managed to get it to work with my wife's iphone. This app needs some serious work and is a huge hindrance to anyone trying to use it with their Yamaha soundbar. Do better Yamaha. We expect better. |

Clicking the icon does nothing, it won't open the app, or even try opening the app. Clearing cache, data, and reinstalling hasn't helped. |

Have uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing. Unplug sounds bar. Same issue. Factory reset and nothing. I have looked all over the internet and nothing. I would love to use this app instead of getting up everytime I need to change the sound. I'll have to buy another remote (first one I had broke). Sound bar great, the app is not. |
