2024-01-25 | Paranoid Zkitszo | It's the thought that counts? So we have an app to utilize data presented to us through the different sensors on our devices...but, move your device (say you are examining orientation, rotation..) and now the data is gone.. There's no running data stream.. It resets the graphs..and no way to record the data? What? Am I supposed to measure the orientation by just staring at a still device? Heaven forbid I a tualy move it to examine the sensor measurements...oh wait...it resets the graphs if I do.
2023-12-16 | juan zambon | Simple and effective. All sensors are there with name of the component, real time data and graph. Edit: hey there's an option to disable ads! The developer was really kind to let you opt! If there is a pay version of it or donate, plz let me know because this is a based move that deserves recognition. Congratulations guys!
2023-11-26 | Peter C. Frank (NiteStar) | Most of the sensors aren't very accurate as they don't do anything on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The app hasn't been updated in about a year so there's no reason that an update hasn't come out to include my device for this app. It's a shame because this was a great app that used to provide very useful information about all of the sensors in my Galaxy phones until my most recent upgrade to the S22 Ultra.
2023-08-27 | John Hoover | I love this thing, but there are a few things I wish were changeable. I would love to have a graph scale function due to only seeing the max values make it hard to read or see changes. It would also be great if the GPS menu allows you to see a calculated speed, but those are my only gripes so far
2022-10-17 | 3 2 | People, read the app permissions. This app gives itself full network access including ability to connect and disconnect to wifi, prevent your phone from sleeping and the ability to recieve data from the internet. There is a reason they let you turn off the ads for free, they are exploiting you otherwise. Always check the app permissions. This app uses output from the sensors on your phone for its actual stated purpose. It doesnt need all these permissions, so ask yourself why they took them?
2022-05-16 | Danny McGee | I hit the "Disable ads" checkbox expecting it to take me to a Play Store page where I could buy the paid version. But there is no paid version! They literally just let you turn off the ads! Since I can't throw the devs a few bucks, least I can do is leave a review. It works quite well, excellent for debugging issues with your device or just testing the accuracy of its various sensors.
2022-01-23 | David Murray | One of my favorite 'not strictly necessary' apps. Incredibly useful when out and about (in the middle of nowhere), or just pondering physics over a cup of tea. I often take a screenshot of the GPS screen during fieldwork, and reference it in my notes (i.e. surprising stratigraphy along road cuts). Sudden appearance of ads was a surprise, but they've helpfully added an option to turn them off.
2021-08-25 | Haydan Fisher | This app is excellent with just one complaint that I hope the developers will fix. So one of the features of the app is that it rotates, but in my phone quick settings there is a option to disable auto rotate, but even when it's active the app still rotates on its own. However, I still give 5 stars because there is a option in settings to disable rotation. Other than that I love this app.
2021-03-13 | Ryan K | Properly designed app, shows all necessary sensor data. This app has been a pleasure to use as it nicely categorizes and displays phone sensor information. This app remains clean, well organized and free of gimmicks. The developers did a fine job with this app and I wish there was some way I could support them. I couldn't seem to find an ad free upgrade in the app. Also, the developers are so ethical that they even included a setting to disable ads (not that I'd recommend doing so).
2020-09-19 | Tony C. | This app is super useful. Well, it's simple and straightforward, but gives me data I'd been looking for years to find. ... My only wish is the option to display barometric pressure in inches of mercury. I know it's a strange unit, but that's what's used in standard weather reports across the US. |
