| 2024-12-01 |  | | I positively LOATHE this latest version of the app! The font is so small, (and unchangeable) that I can't even read the thing any more. It lacks settings for us to customize the app the way we want it. (There are some costumizations available, but none that I personally found helpful). I don't like the way the radar has been changed either. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS.... I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! Since I cannot read the font, I had to download a different weather app that suits my needs. |

I wish the widget followed current location not for where you set it up and also wish setting add ons for radar actually stayed on after closing the app. Other than that I was pleased enough with this update to switch to TWC as my main weather app from FOX WEATHER. Hopefully they improve upon this new layout and functionality issues. |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | Newest upgrade has been awful for paid subscribers, at least on Android. There is a known problem that it won't remain logged in, and a fix was promised in the first week of November, but hasn't appeared yet. Disappointing. You pay not to have ads, then have to jump through hoops EVERY TIME you open the app. Multiple clicks to get to the log in (all delayed by loading the ads you paid not to see) and type your login info (it doesn't store it like every other app.) Who tested this app? |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | Used to love this app, used it multiple times a day. Now it's useless since the new look! Radar does not work at all since the upgrade! And other bugs! Terrible new look! The old one was so much better! I'm now looking for a different app for weather! How can they have so many complaints about the look and the performance and ignore them and not do anything about it. Suggest they go back to the old one until they come up with a working update! THE WEATHER CHANNEL should be embarrassed! |
| 2024-11-13 |  | | UPDATE: they've seemed to patch the bugs present in the previous update. The revised New Look seems to be working fine now... Maybe I just don't like change, but the new update is subpar. In addition, it never opens for me. Sometimes I get lucky after waiting 30 seconds for the app to open, but most times it just never opens. It will get stuck on the loading screen for as long as you let it. It does not recall my saved places. Just all sorts of problems too numerous to list all. Who comes up with these "improvements"? And, who is your test market? I wish software engineers would stop trying to fix things that aren't broken. It's my daily go-to for weather info for myself, for my kids' locations, and for packing for travel, whether domestic or international, but... since the November 2024 update that overhauled the user interface design, it consistently makes me login to my account on a daily basis, and I'm a Premium (paid) subscriber. I can't find an in-app Customer Service option or help option anywhere to report it or get assistance. Very frustrating user account experience. |
