| 2024-12-16 |  | | I would love to give it 5 stars but with each update it just gets worse:\n - Downloaded shows/movies stop when WiFi connection drops.\n - Scrolling is terrible; vertical scroll does not work sometimes and triggers horizontal scroll of movies. Also scroll is not smooth but erratic. Toolbar at the bottom also distorts scroll when it appears. Horizontal slider with movies bounces back when you reach the last tiles.\n - Main screen always shows the same suggestions.\n - Index or directory missing.\n |
| 2024-12-15 |  | | I like what's on offer and the price. At first I had issues with the buttons not working, for those experiencing this issue, the problem probably is your VPN. To fix it, pause VPN and restart the app, check if the buttons work. For me at this point they worked. Then close the app, reactivate your VPN at whichever country you want and normally everything should be working now. Had to try this myself, couldn't find this online so hope it helps people. | 2024-12-09 |  | | I’ve been using the HBO Max app on my Android phone, and the experience has been quite frustrating. The app doesn’t allow me to switch to full screen mode, no matter what I try. Additionally, the “Skip Intro” button is completely unresponsive, and I can’t rewind or fast forward through the content. These issues make it very difficult to enjoy watching anything on the app. I hope these problems are addressed soon, as they significantly detract from the overall viewing experience |
| 2024-11-24 |  | | Useless app. Living in Thailand I was happy with HBO go but now that it changed to Max I and I had to download the new app I can't stream anymore. The app recognize me but keep telling that that I haven't a subscription.Just payed for the service till February 2025 |

I miss the English ([CC]) subtitles for things like GoT, HotD etc. They used to be on the app, but now we have all languages to get subtitles for except English. It's also suffering from constant buffering, during which the subtitles just disappear. Please fix your bugs. |
