2024-09-22 | Alexander Ganin | Glitches, stopped syncing with Google fit as of today, contacted support but it's Saturday, so no idea when they'll respond. Doesn't sync with a Coros watch, so I had to make it export data to Google fit, which in itself was very tricky. UI could be better, for example, clicking on user name on the leader board won't get you to their profile
2024-05-08 | Joe Scott | Just "eh". Installed as part of a walking challenge through work. Maybe it's me, but I would think a "Walker Tracker" app would make use of the accelerometers and/or GPS in my phone like the app I've had installed for years does. But no... You need another peice of hardware to actually track steps/miles. My smart watch keeps tabs but the app won't let me select it. Will be removing this app upon challenge completion.
2023-12-01 | Nate Marq | The Y-axis of the team average steps is cut off, so you cant accurate tell what the values are. When trying to scroll up or down on a "leaderboard" screens, the app will register the gesture as a side swipe and move to the "discussion' screen. Repeating the gesture does not move back to the "leaderboard" screen, so it seems there's an odd rightward justification.
2023-11-15 | Jin Hee Rodriguez | This app is AWFUL! It stopped synching to my Fitbit and updating my steps. I thought disconnecting my Fitbit and re-connecting would help, but it wouldn't let me disconnect. I uninstalled and re-installed the walker app multiple times and still nothing. Support responded to me and advised I uninstall and re-install to the new version. I did, and now it won't connect my Fitbit device. If I didn't have to use this app for my organizations health and wellness benefits, I would NOT use this app.
2023-08-08 | Barrett Uhler | The app is very slow to connect to my watch and record my steps. I often have to keep reloading the app and page to sync to my watch before it recognizes my steps. The lack of manual input is also a downside. If I forget to wear my watch for half the day then my steps are not counted and it bothers me greatly. It is very unforgiving and makes the walking challenges less fun. I won't be using this app anymore.
2023-03-22 | Mark Johnson | App does not truly sync with my Fitbit. Every single day when I come home from work and take my Fitbit off and do a finally sync on it's app then switch over to Walker Tracker it is ALWAYS 1500 steps or more off. I've even retried syncing it multiple times later in the evening. Sometimes it will, but most often it won't! POS!!! My work does challenges thru this app and I work outside so I rack up a good amount of steps daily. I hate this app . I've even taken screenshots to prove it.
2021-08-24 | Simona Baker | This app is great since it includes all device types (Apple, Garmin, Fit Bit, manual entry, etc). It's easy to create challenges and it makes it interesting with fun facts and different routes/lengths. I think the best part is being able to convert activity types (ie yoga, gardening, cycling, etc).
2021-06-05 | Adam Beehler | What happened with the app update? I used to be able to enter my daily "activity details" all on one page, but now one must click on each individual detail category, enter or scroll through options, exit that category, go to the next option, and etc. It takes me significantly longer to enter items now. I'm disappointed. It is as if no one is actually testing/using this portion of the app, or I believe they would be frustrated, too.
2021-05-29 | Sue West | Works as expected. Responsive support. I reached out to support one night last week when I noticed the app had stopped syncing in with Google Fit (Pixel 5). I received a reply early the next day and was told there was an issue w/ Google's updated security settings. They manually addedy my steps and promised and update within a couple days. Today that update arrived and my new steps all synced as expected.
2021-05-28 | Janice Oleson | It states that the app will import steps from Google Fit. It did the first two or three days but now it won't. I've hit the refresh and still no steps. I restarted my phone and still no steps. I installed this for a work challenge but if it's not going to work I guess I'll have to drop out of the challenge. Very disappointed as I really wanted to participate. |
