to preserve the battery and to prevent the Android system from stopping the widget from working.

This widget was tested on many physical devices with no fail.
However, I cannot guarantee proper functionality on all devices.

This is great! I'd like to see a bit more of the glow effect, like I'm looking at my nixie tubes alight in my home. Also it'd be rad if there were some seconds display options or even a dekatron nixie tube.

Have had this app (paid version) for quite some time and it looks great, but it no longer works correctly on new phones. Despite giving the app a deep sleep exception, the widget stops updating time. Tapping the minutes to show the date will force to show current time but does not progress. The blinking dots animation always shows, so the app is running. It does work flawlessly on my old tablet, but the widget has only one size which looks out of place on a bigger display.
