| 2024-07-07 |  | | I've had no issues. I use this as an always on VPN. Some sites will block you for using your VPN, but that's just the protocol not the service. You get a lot for what what you paid though, especially if you snagged a lifetime pro membership. Update: The service has been down for days. Uninstalling and reinstalling has not worked. This is outrageous, it's unfair! |

On March 3rd, 2024, fastestvpn is not allowing internet access, no matter what location and protocol I use. When it gets me connected, I can use it for a few hours. I wasted hours with support, but not fix yet. What a waste of money. I believe they hook you up for a few months, and since no money refund, we won't use the product, and they keep making money. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. |
| 2023-12-07 |  | | I have a lifetime subscription, and use it on Android and on a desktop. Though it was heavily discounted it was still a mistake. With most of the servers even if I can connect sites are blocked. On the one server I can get most sites I visit it constantly disconnects. Sometimes it takes many tries to reconnect. When it can't reconnect I have to logout and login again. It is very annoying. I would not recommend this VPN to anyone. |

Extremely inconvenient, been several days and no obvious signs of an incoming fix. Update: I have been told by the developers to update to v3.1.2. This update is not present on the Google Play Store for me, even if I uninstall and reinstall the app completely. I had to get it from an APK site. |

So far it has worked without a glitch and I was especially surprised to find that I can use it to watch my favorite video streaming services while travelling abroad (outside the US, i mean). I have two other VPN apps installed on my phone as backups but i feel FastestVPN is giving them the run for their money. I truly believe this app is the best deal out there. |

The old adage, "You get what you pay for" comes to mind. I'm writing this review while trying to autoconnect, which has been going on 14 minutes now. I believe I paid $20 for a lifetime access to a program that shows you a loading screen until you get tired and give up. TLDR: It rarely works when it wants to, look somewhere else if you a VPN to work all the time. |
| 2021-01-15 |  | | The app isn't to bad, I got the $20 life Time subscription for 10 devices, so with that being said when I'm home I don't have many issues pretty fast for the most part, if it's acting up then all I do is change the SERVER and that usually fixes the problem. The app itself is pretty boring, their really isn't anything to it. Ive had this app for about 3 months. I know it works with my phone and my PC. So for what I paid I couldn't be happier. It didn't fix the problem. Either way, they don't care. They only respond with password resets now. Does not connect. Tried all the protocols, which is what their support recommended. I also tried with home WiFi and with cellular LTE. Finally, I even tried on a Windows PC. Either something is wrong with my account or with their servers. |

If you're going to use vpn, it has to have a strict no log privacy policy that is straightforward, without the doublespeak. Privacy, security and freedom are everyone's rights. Just because you "have nothing to hide" doesn't mean you should compromise. |
| 2020-07-16 |  | | The VPN servers continually give me "failure to connect" messages whenever I use my phone's data and will regularly disconnect when on WiFi. Also, once the VPN disconnects on its own, FastestVPN does not attempt to automatically reconnect. Since I do not get an alert from the app when it is running in the background, I don't notice that the VPN disabled itself and leave my phone vulnerable while attempting to reconnect. UPDATE: The solution provided did the trick! Thank you for the response. |
