2022-11-13 | LordCaptainBamboo | The first otome / card collecting battler game I played. It's alright but I prefer games with the more traditional choose your character route. This may be because I rarely care for the more "main" LI and single stories often focus on them more. Still, it has a wide variety of characters and I think maybe you can do character specific routes after completing a long common story. I haven't made it to those and the character I like is in part 2, so I'll likely give up before I get to him.
2022-07-06 | Meloni Galeski | Story: a lot of fun, each individual route is unique enough to be interesting (minus ginnojo yall did him dirty). You all also made me love characters I hated so- Art/Voice: lovely wish there was more fully voiced scenes but with what there is. It's great. Gripes: Each chapter you need a key, 3 keys a day, one when you level. But it gets hard to collect keys after lvl 100, so you either spend money for keys or suffer. Gameplay: repetitive 🙂 Pretty men go brrr, but I love they (justiceforgin😀)
2022-05-30 | Chelsea S | I love this game, plus now they've made adjustments and actually listen to their fans and what they want! Now there is a way to read chapters every day rather than grinding for keys which makes the game more enjoyable with story access. I wish there was a way to sell excess items (like romance keys, hour glasses) for shards or diamonds, as the diamonds are over priced and you get to a point where you can't get many from quests/grinding anymore. Other than that love this game and stories!
2021-07-21 | Alison Claire | You get story keys by leveling up, which isnt that hard and doesnt take longer the higher your level is. Having rare cards doesnt matter much, so I wait until weekends, when the daily patrol gives extra exp, and I level up a lot and read the story. Lots of routes and I like the story, it's pretty intriguing and the writing is better than most otomes I've played. Gameplay outside story is boring and tedious but you don't need to do it much, only for leveling cards. The MC is well-written!
2021-06-08 | April Ulmer | I've only had this for about 3 days and I really like it! Although it takes so much to level up to get story keys :( It's also a bit confusing with all of the currencies. Other than that, I really like the story and the boys are so adorable!! Also, an edit, I wish we could choose our answers! But I still like the story format
2021-03-15 | Melita H | The story is really very well-crafted and interesting! I really appreciate how everything ties together, including events and all the different character stories.. Aside from the occasional typo, the translation is also pretty great~ The game aspects are fun enough and quite good for occupying time, plus there are ample rewards and story incentives. I kinda just downloaded this on a whim, but I've come to really like it!
2021-01-02 | Ren Ganino | I've played a lot of otome games, and often times the reason I stop playing them is because the story is flat, uninteresting and unoriginal. One of Ayakashi: Romance Reborn's greatest strengths, however, is a storyline that continues to be well-written and unique despite the large number of characters. Each route draws on other routes for added depth, but doesn't rely on them to make sense or recycle previously used material. One star deducted for frequent but not super inconvenient glitches.
2020-12-25 | Angela Mackey | I love the game. There are a lot of different ways to play based on your game preferences. It has a lot of new events to add in more interaction with your favorite characters. I would give it 5 stars but I have experienced a glitch of some kind in the evolve section and it makes it impossible to finish clearing the last seven characters.
2020-11-27 | Rosie Favela | I personally really love this game, not only because of its storyline but because of all of the other parts they put focus on. They have side stories you can unlock but upgrading your card, short stories you can get by patroling, and the different paths you can choose to go down based on the person you choose. It also gives you extra story lines based on different events.
2020-09-23 | Celena Sardothien | I love this game the graphics are amazing and so are the animations. It's a really good plot (I just finished book 1) but it isnt like other otome games, it doesnt go straight into the romance instead it's more of a slow burn which tbh is more realistic, some of the controls are confusing (I cant figure out how to set my background idk maybe I'm just dumb) and you dont make decisions in the story but I am really enjoying the story so five stars. |
