But, the problem is this app is not updated to comply with Android 14 or the latest software which is very disappointing. I would like to request to the developer to updated this app complying with android 14 or the latest software. Another problem is all time net connection requirement to use this app |
| 2024-09-18 |  | | Everytime I pick up my device to go back to the word I'm currently viewing/studying, the app switches to a different word. This "shake your device for a random word" feature is not practical. Worst of all, there are no settings/option to turn this off. Please fix this... |
| 2024-03-14 |  | | Frequently lags, freezes, and glitches. Ill be searching up a word and itll pop up but I am unable to click to load the definition page. Even after refreshing, it still freezes. Please update it. Sometimes the text doesnt all fit on the app and you'd have to zoom in. It's not adjusted for a phone screen size. Otherwise the app is fine. Though if it wasnt out of pure convenience, I'd use the website on my laptop more. |
| 2024-01-10 |  | | I love the website, but the app is lacking. 1) I don't see a way to add a word to one of my lists in the app, though I can on the mobile site. 2) when you look up a definition, you can swipe back and forth between the previous definitions you've looked up. But it gets really glitchy and you have to restart the app so the whole definition is in the frame. Besides these two issues, it is very straightforward, and I can successfully complete the little quizzes. |

While swiping between words the page does not seem to fit the entire screen and it is always skewed to either the left or the right. Apart from this, the lists doesn't seem to be working, eveytime i click on a list the screen goes blank and the app becomes unresponsive. Please take this as constructive criticism because I really love this app. If you giys could change this, it would be unreal. |
| 2023-08-05 |  | | I really appreciate all the time that the creators spent making so many in depth and yet easy to learn definitions. The definitions are superior to any other dictionary app or website. However, the interface and usability of the app is lacking. - I've forgotten a lot of my mastered words and I'm not sure if there is a way to relearn previously mastered words. - the option to create my own lists (especially if I'm learning words from a book). - general UI fixes, app feels buggy/outdated. |
| 2023-05-11 |  | | On my phone, the application is not loading correctly & constantly freezing. I installed it today & will uninstall it now. I could not assess the functionality of it due to loading/freezing issues. Thus, I could not recomend it either. Good luck to developers if you guys could connect/correct functionality. |

I have tried various, I mean various apps (flash card apps, memorising apps, etc.), none even comparable to this, (I would recommend using the website and the app together) It helps you learn many synonyms, and different ways of using a word. In a nutshell, this is something that might actually work!!! |

Some of the meanings for some of the words that I knew previously are presented in a different perspective & that has helped me to relearn that word in a more correct way. Please add word search history option. The app gets stuck when some of the words are searched, one of them being "hardworking". Sometimes app gets stuck & when restarting, all word history (that is available when swipe left) is lost. Plz look into these asap. 👍✌️ |
| 2022-09-14 |  | | NEWEST UPDATE: Glitchy. :( One day I can add words to my learning list, next day I can't. Freezes randomly. Still hopeful? UPDATE: Fixed! I can look up definitions for & store new words I come across - and I can add them to my "learning list." 🤓 Dictionary is crazy fast, and the way words are explained in the game is really engaging. Wish it had the pronunciation markings. But I downloaded the app to keep track of and learn new words that I came across in books - and that feature isn't working. |
