2023-01-18 | DeNae Bechard | Updated: app notifications stopped completely for me over 8 months ago now. It used to notify me when my order was accepted and being made and then again when it was ready, and now I don't receive either. There has been 2 updates since, but no fix. Simple but has everything you need. I love that it helps me find great local spots to support even while traveling that I might not have seen otherwise! I don't love that the back button navigates you clear back to the main screen. | |

Especially excellent for mothers of sleeping babies that you don't want to take out of the car seat! I wish I could invite all of the local coffee shops to use the app! 😊 | |

But it doesn't allow me to save anything to the cart or make a payment. Very frustrating. Most times I just skip the cafe altogether because this hasn't worked for months and I am in a hurry in the morning. | |
2022-09-17 | Perron Jones | Horrible UX. If you don't have an account, adding to cart takes you back to the sign in screen and you lose your order. Back navigation is not intuitive. Going back with the native device navigation exits your order. The only way to properly navigate back is the back button on the actual app. Not a good experience to not include support for the common navigation patterns of the device. This leads to having to restart the order. There have been a couple of times where I just decided to not buy. | |
2022-03-09 | Clinton Foster | Changed review to 2 stars based on the new version. When it first rolled out last week it said my local coffee shop (Kahwa) no longer offered any hot drinks besides regular coffee & tea. OK, maybe it's the "coffee shop's fault" for not reconfiguring something to accommodate the new app. The next time I tried to use it (today) the normal coffee selections were back .But it said I had insufficient funds in my "wallet". Wallet...? This usually means an app is forcing you to pay ahead in fixed amounts to reduce their per-transaction costs. After selecting $10 and "Google Pay" it said "Customer id required". Not sure what that means since I've been using the app since the Cloosiv days, and I was signed in. In summary, the app upgrade is apparently not for customers' benefit, and likely not coffee shops either since it did not handle migration for either party properly. Of course, lots of apps are moving in this direction, so most people will just suck it up if there is no alternative. As a software developer I know migration is "hard". But time should be taken to do it properly even if there is great enthusiasm for rolling out a new wallet-based app for increasing profits. On the bright side, the problem with orders being double-submitted that I reported in my original review was fixed long ago. | |

It's easy to get the payment option wrong, and I ended up paying with Google Pay when I had a balance to be used. Then my favorite shop decided to switch apps. I had to scramble to use up my balance. | |

I really want to love this app. I love being able to order ahead so I can grab my favorite local coffee on my lunch break but it's so glitchy! Today I tried 3 times to place an order and it would get to the very end and the submit order button is black and won't respond. When it does work on my end apparently the coffee shop isn't getting the order in a timely manner and I still have to wait for my drinks. Very frustrating. | |

2020-08-09 | Kyle M | Good app for easy ordering. Has been glitchy a time or two but also could have been network service too. Definitely makes for a quick and easy experience and they hook you up with rewards on occasion. |
