2024-04-04 | mister wil | Trash! It announces alerts for the area, not the direction of your travel. Eg, if your traveling on a two way, two lane, street it gives the alerts ⚠️ for the street as oppose to the direction of your travel. I had to turn it of it was driving me crazy. Wish I could have refund 😕 😪 😒 This is not the free version. I brought the the premium for 1yr... Again can I get a refund😕🫤🧐?
2024-01-14 | Paul Rudi Bottse | The application is good (3 st. Many speed bumps are missing. The radar station locations are not accurate. I try to assist with updating the locations but the traffic is awful in Egypt. The smallest distraction can be fatal. The required system application updates are to frequent. I am not ready for a full upgrade until I see more improvements. However I do recommend the use so you all can assist with the accuracy.
2023-09-17 | Steve Young | It's been generally a good experience. It's last year when I used it and this year it seems to catch all the radars. I know I didn't get any tickets last year. However, when I first purchased the ad free membership, the app went a little weird and showed no streets, , didn't know where it was, and should speed limits that were well out of range with reality. I rebooted and things work better. All I can say is I hope I didn't get a ticket during the time it wasn't working right
2023-09-04 | Emilio Trotman | 8/22 First week using it, so far, I find it more informative than waze. More active alerts :Update :9/4/23 Since I started using the app, I've not received any citations. And yes, it does pick up every radar signal in your path coming and going, which is annoying while driving in the city. Every intersection comes with a warning ⚠️ . On the highway, the app dont warn you of nothing unless someone ahead of you with the app reports the police presence. Question : Is this app operating on satellite
2023-08-27 | Fen | Very frustrating to work with. The map auto zooms back onto your location every time you scroll out. I want to see if there are any radars on my way back and I have to constantly fight the app to get a clear answer. Even then most of the time the radars will not load on the map with a stable internet connection. The bloat from the ads and Gold subscription is too much also.
2023-04-30 | Aries | Updated to the latest version, but the issue still persists. Despite the fact that I have female voice in google settings (and ticked speech synthesis engine option in Radarbot itself of course) the app still gives some phrases like "you've entered/left the school zone" with male voice. Another strange thing - aforementioned synthesized female voice in app's "sound test" menu differs from what I hear while navigating with Radarbot. Otherwise the app is great! Especially with the latest update.
2023-02-02 | Geoff Davies | At the moment I am trialling it and I find it OK , if I am happy at the end of my trial then I will buy a subscription. I did decide to subscribe to the app for a knock down price of £16:99, I have used it for about 8 weeks and have now dumped it. My advice don't waste your money, times many I have told them about hotspots and they do nothing about them. I have gone over to Aguri Skyway GTX90 [at a cost] but worth every penny, again don't waste your money.
2022-07-31 | A Google user | I guess it's doable but needs more work put into it. I paid for the premium on the first day thinking w/ that package, you'd be able to incorporate/sync your radar detector into the app but i was WRONG. Obviously you'll need an actual detector and a good one at that. The app alone won't work. If the app had Bluetooth capabilities to adjust the detector settings and whatnot at your fingertips and you were able to sync it, with all the apps features, it would def be better than Escort's app.
2022-07-02 | Linda R Wood | ❤️ this app. Gives speed, warnings, cop radars & construction zones. It would be great if you guys paired with Google maps & it was all integrated. As it is now, I have to go into maps separately & set my destination, etc. Minimize it, then open Radarbot, let it open & run 1 Short ad (should be the norm when using free apps; some companies go OVERBOARD w/ads. Once Radarbot is open fully I exit & the app asks if I want it to run in the background; yes & it minimizes & runs overs my Google map.
2022-03-13 | Anne Ritchie | I tried the trial of the paid version for several days. I felt that Radarbot never distinguished itself favorably from Google Maps navigation. In many ways, Google Maps is superior: it provides lane information (although it is true that Google Maps' info is not always correct), much better voice navigation (the Radarbot voice sounds like navigation voices from 10 years ago), better system integration with Android Auto, and an overall better experience. |
