Polished software which does all that it says it will. Well written help/ manual too! (Lack of one is a red flag for me). But do check out for costs (esp for maps) and take a personal call on it. Which is why I rate it's free version 5 star and this 4 star.

Have GPX Viewer PRO already on a few smartphones now and hiked with it a few times. It works flawless. UPDATE: downloaded on another android device. Cannot download maps anymore. Downloads until 91% and then starts allover again.

Ridiculously long to download maps. Did I say it took a long time to download? How about, you wait 20 minutes to have it cancel out on you. On top of that, this app tracks you!
