2024-11-30 | Tom Mitcham | There are things I love that SaA has which "Sleep Cycle" app (which I've used for 8yrs) doesn't have, like the sleep score breakdown into components elements, data that's easier to read on the charts, and the ability to edit your sleep session start/stop times. However, the UI/UX is a bit haphazard and not well organized, and the main dashboard view is littered with constant suggestions and notifications. I'll continue to use both for a few more weeks and see if the cost/benefit pencils out.
2024-11-30 | Washu Ai | I lost my lifetime and it was no where near $49.99. I don't do subs (I also can't). The forced trial is uncool. The gentle alarm, alarm optioms and captcha are what make. I wish some old apps could stay the same without disappearing. Having to find the latest version of the not quite wheel for something as important as an alarm is aggravating.
2024-11-26 | Loki Va | Hadn't used this app in a while, but when I tried to check if it plays nice or not with SpO2 and motion sensors in devices I currently have, I was surprised to see it trying to push subscription fees, and no longer recognizing my previous paid unlock key. Not a nice business practice. I will be uninstalling.
2024-11-16 | Zombemi | Don't use the alarm function. The rest of the app is good, even the free version without the bells and whistles is useful except for the alarm. It turned my selfie camera on and demanded I smile. I dismissed/snoozed but looking at settings triggered it immediately. I tried to restart, IT RESUMED SCREAMING, I had to uninstall it to get it to stop.
2024-11-15 | Chloe Price | This is the best, most fully featured, and privacy respecting sleep tracking app I've been able to find. It has every feature you could want, integrates with Health Connect, integrates with 3rd party hardware and apps, and has great design. This is the epitome of what smartphone apps should be.
2024-11-06 | Rudy | Beware, premium trial is automatic, I had no say in activating it. Then asks you to rate app. I guess you don't actually get any features unless you pay up. Documentation doesn't work, opens my browser then endlessly loads until timeout. Edit: then the button is deceivingly placed, I never got confirmation for it, so it must have been pressed accidentally while using the app normally, working as designed I'm sure
2024-10-25 | kyle smith | The alarm check does not stop, Edit: I did comfirm it and said I was Awake. However I think I noticed that it does it a few times, Which is shown in the settings of it, which is why it was doing it again after confirming I was awake. Reply: There were more alarms close to each other. Pretty much right at the 40 minute window that I chose for a smart wake up. Also, it seems like an update may have fixed it because it didn't happen again When I set it up
2024-10-13 | zol starym | After installing it, they wanted money to enable multiple options that were show in the app screenshots. They shouldn't show/advertise features in the free version that aren't enabled in the free version. Setting an alarm to a one time date and then setting the time resets your date setting. It is possible to silence an alarm without hitting snooze, dismissing, or scanning the NFC by connecting the phone to Bluetooth and then tapping the notification then hitting home and turning the screen off
2024-10-12 | Zachary Friedman | For an app rated and priced the way this one is, I expect a much better UI. I want the app to check and make sure I'm awake a few times after I do the captcha to turn off the alarm. If there is a way to do this, I wouldn't know because none of the options under "wake-up check" are explained very well. I used Alarmy before this. I can set up an alarm within three minutes with Alarmy. With Sleep as Android, it takes a minimum of 10. Otherwise, a very good alarm with many options to customize.
2024-09-25 | Kenson M. | App is completely broken. I have dismissed the alarm three times and it still keeps going off. And yes I confirm I hit the dismiss button. The app is no longer worth using. Used to love this app, using for many years, but it does not work fully properly anymore. If I'm watching a YT video it won't pause the video when the alarm goes off. That should be a basic function coffee in the app. |
