I logged out and un-installed the app, then reinstalled...but now can't get logged in because I still can't get the verification code to come through. I went through all the steps, even called my cell phone company to see if my phone had issues...which it doesn't. Since the initial response from my help request, I haven't heard back from them. All I've received is an automated emal |

Few minutes after providing all the information I was asked, I received an email stating I could not be offered an account which was quite odd. I followed all the prompts to reach customer support only looped back to the declined state. I can't find a number or email to contact anyone. Strange. |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | Negative stars on customer service. The 2FA decided to stop working when I was trying to make a withdrawal. It's no longer sending sms to the same phone # I've had for over 15 years. Now I can't even log in (same reason, bounces me to 6 digit verification for a text I never receive). It's been 3 days since I first contacted support. Other platforms now have xrp, y'all. Go to robinhood and save yourself the stress from this awful app. As soon as I can get back in, I'm closing my acct. |
| 2024-11-12 |  | | So I need to access my account and sent a email for 2 factor authentication. They sent the email just asking if I sent it and now I have to wait another 24 hours. No other app I use does this and I shouldn't have to wait a day. This is trash and I'm taking ALL my money out as soon as I get in. Totally unacceptable. I updated the app and it won't even let me to the next page when I hit log in. Only works for sign up. Terrible! |
| 2024-10-31 |  | | -There is no option to save your login for quick access. -You cannot be on a VPN while logging in -After entering your logging credentials you will have to undergo an obstacle course of authentication steps, each and every time. There is no settings option to turn this on or off or simplify logging in. -It seems every 5th time I attemptlogging in, I am asked to take a picture to prove who I am. This is very annoying. -The in app layout is a alittle confusing to navigate. |
| 2024-04-01 |  | | I used to love using this app for currency watching, metal trading and crypto staking. However, one thing changed all that, a "temporary" inability to change my address through the app. I use quotations, because this has been a "temporary" issue for over 2 years, now. I've tried contacting support, as it suggests, and they want me to provide some crazy levels of personal info, info which my banks don't even require. Weird stuff. Haven't really used the app since then, so about 2 years. |
| 2023-12-26 |  | | NOT very user friendly. I agree with others that have said the same. I got into using it due to xrp . I applaud Uphold for not delisting it. Plus I could get some alts that weren't available on CB. But! This is definitely not my go to app . It's very confusing, difficult to send,transfer, etc. I shouldn't have to go with a YouTube video to figure out how do do certain things. I would like to use Uphold please keep it simple! You are the most difficult to use of any exchange |
| 2023-07-28 |  | | This new app is not as easy to use. 1. It has a "permanent" dark mode. Yes, I tried changing it in settings but each time I log in new it reverts to dark mode. 2. The main screen is too busy and it took my a while to figure out where my portfolio was. It just wasn't easier or an improvement. 3. To purchase was very confusing as well. I was not sure what is was going to purchase and with which currency. 4. It periodically freezes or crashes. As a result I no longer use it☹️ |

Their fees are outrages and they will refuse to pay out their pathetic little $20 sign up bonus even if you did complete the required tasks for them to do so. I would definitely either stick with coinbase or PayPal. If you didn't know yet, you can now not only purchase bitcoin on paypal, but you can now also send your crypto to any outside wallets now! Paypal has VERY low fees as well! |
| 2023-03-31 |  | | Been using Uphold for a while now, and this is actually a very solid app. Quite fast, and has never crashed. Live chat support is also available. On the other hand, sending assets to an actual wallet address could be more straightforward, staking was removed, they killed their crypto debit card program, and there is now a 99 cent fee for every transaction imaginable (on top of the spread). I once was a fan, but can no longer recommend this exchange. |
