2024-12-06 | Jaylen Campbell | Best civilization strategy, very relaxing and good to kill time. Has mods, adding more possibilities, as well as multiplayer. Many options for world creation. There is a learning curve, takes practice to master strategic skills. But the fact alone that it doesn't have ads easily makes up for it.
2024-11-28 | Paul Llamas | The most obvious thing to start with is what to expect - this is a mobile adaptation of a very big and eventful game, so not everything will be exactly where it should be in terms of Civ's aspects. Knowing this, this game blows away my expectations for a mobile civ adaptation by providing intuitive UI, updates to polish the game to further enhance the experience, and helping me pass the time when I get a strategy game itch when I'm on the go. Also, no ads included is a huge bonus.
2024-10-19 | Eheeiudj Jrnrrb | It's a great game, but it's very tedious to play on big maps and/or high difficulties. I often find myself ending the game early, even though I have the upper hand. You get to a point where you have 50 units, and it takes a long time to complete just one turn. There is an automation feature, but it's practically useless on higher difficulties. Maybe implement a system that allows you to assign broad tasks instead of letting units mindlessly roam around, only certain improvements for workers, etc
2024-10-09 | Kevin Pierce | Love it. Flesh out the diplomacy with AI nations and it would be perfect such as discussions and agreements over unsettled territories. if you like to think and comprehend, this just might be the best kept secret on the internet. Very very very good game with levels that can be played from very easy to impossible. I have been playing it for years now and seldom get tired of it.
2024-09-29 | Keith Alorro | I have an older device limited to Android 7.0, and the games it can play is limited. Thankfully, Unciv runs on it. This is a faithful recreation of the Civilization franchise for FREE. This is a no frills iteration of the game, focused on the crucial elements of what makes Civilization fun resulting in a snappy game that performs and plays excellently.
2024-09-27 | Flappy Flapjacks | When the Developer says "An open-source reimplementation of the most famous civilization-building game ever - fast, small, no ads, free forever!"....they are not kidding. Great game, no BS. Most games try to monetize, many times in a slimy way. Like, you can't progress any further until you pay, or at a disadvantage PvP I spent so many hours playing this game, that I feel guilty that's it's free. I need to send this guy a few bucks at least.
2024-09-13 | dom payne | A game that is constantly being polished. A civilization building game wear you use your pieces to take over the map and "win" idk what winning is but it feels good to take control over a game. Only request is that there were a way to skip till something happened. Other then it being slow every so often fun game. Great way to spend your time, get it!
2024-07-23 | Dog toy | A great game to pass time, but only if you stay on mid level difficulties. Any higher difficulties are conplete and total bs, where by the time I am able to put out a second city the ai has developed an entire continent with half a dozen cities. I had a game where I was developing safely on a small island and had never met any other civs. Then when one civ found me, they just so happened to bring over three dozen catapults, when my army was barely two archers. So they knew my exact location.
2024-07-17 | Enton Nigma | Super fun! Imagine AoE, but TBS, vs RTS. Extremely high replay ability, I think 5 difficulty settings, a cornicopia of civilizations to play as or against, and a custom world-builder tool. Again, THIS is the game AoE fans are looking for! Oh! It's also F2W(free to win). I do have a suggestion for demands/trades to other civs, though: "Retreat to your own borders, or I will be forced to eliminate your potential for violence." Or, similarly, a way to stand by City-States or civs w/o going to war.
2024-07-01 | Wade Morris | This game starts out fun. The opening setting menu is great. You can adjust brightness & between portrait or landscape views. The game is very difficult. I am currently stuck. I started my first game and moved my Warrior & Settler. The tutorial then says to select the "Pick Tech" button. But I don't see it anywhere. I went through the turn and moved my characters again. But I still don't see the button. It is fun exploring the map a little, but there is no depth to the game. |
