2024-06-18 | Vlad Z | I tried half a dozen apps of this type, and they all required enaibling location to measure the Wi-Fi signal strength. There is no technical reason for this; it is needed by the ads to tie your behavior to a location. This app does not do that. Thank you! It has an intuitive UI, easy to navigate, easy to read. Good job.
2024-06-08 | Matthew Glen | This app is by far the best WiFi monitoring app that I have used. It has so many features and gives so much more information than it's competitors. It also has a very clean looking UI. My only issue is that their privacy policy is too vague and generic. Since this app requires so many permissions, I would like to have a listing of what data is being sent back. However, I trust Ubiquiti and would recommend this app to everyone.
2024-03-15 | Brian Grigg | Not a bad app, although the Floor Mapper doesn't allow exporting. It does have a share feature, but it's essentially useless as it crops the scan, and I don't even have that big if a house. I tried sharing from both the main screen as well as within each scan (repositioning the area in the latter), but they both yield same results. I had to just take a screenshot instead.
2024-03-06 | Gary Weidell | I'm very impressed with the app. Information organized and presented in a concise manner. I'm using Mesh wifi hardware. I'd love to have the ability to adjust it's settings based on this application results. Sadly though my fiber internet provider does not allow such capability. They're evaluating the possible future rollout of this capability.
2023-09-05 | Alexander Meinhardt | Keeps being "simplified" for no good gain. Once a good, useful app with a lot of features, along with additional ones if you owned any Ubiquiti device. Now its barely any better than your standard wifi/network scanning tools, if at all. Two good examples are that the bluetooth signal tracker doesnt have the audio feedback feature anymore, and the wifi frequency graph/map being just.. awful, with a big focus on the device list instead. The UI also is now iOS styled, looking out of place.
2023-08-20 | Ryan L (rl1806) | Each update makes the app less and less useful. Used to be a great tool but now I barely use it due to the poor UI design. Used to be able to easily see what networks were overlapping on the spectrum view but that is almost completely replaced by a list of WiFi network names. Android gives me s list right out of the box. It is s pain to get to where you can monitor signal strength and im sure that is next on the chopping block. The only things that slightly work are the gimmicky AR tools.
2023-08-10 | Gustavo Domínguez | It was good but in UBNT fashion—disconnected, ironically, from its customers—it's now bloated with a lot of stuff vaguely related to Wi-Fi, if at all. Useful stuff like the loud signal beeper seem to have been removed in favor of a busy patchwork of half-baked features features that rely on external services that aren't good for testing APs. C'mon Ubiquiti; we know to look in the mirror to remove one accessory before leaving home, it works in other elsewhere too.
2023-08-06 | Christina | It's probably a better app that's out therinformation. I need, but it'll be really good if youu do not have to go through another step to find out The Distance of the network and if they could all be Together. You know, if there's 20 networks to list, I'll 28 at the distance where you can save on the front Paige and another and I know that's. Another app has a map directions to the Network As Well. That would be nice because this is a good app. Because this is.
2023-05-19 | Mr. Woodward | This is a solid app for checking the status of your WiFi network and neighboring WiFi nets. My current criticisms are that the network status refresh rate on signal, etc could be a little faster. Also the latest v2.0.x had a major UI redesign and significantly reduced ease of use when scanning RF bands, so I'm reducing my score from a 5 to a 3. It used to be a great app, less so now. Maybe UI will fix what they broke. On the plus side, UI added 6Ghz scanning support, so that's good.
2023-03-30 | Casandra Guess | Geezle Pete's Hallelujah! I was skeptical when I saw this app. Having installed ,& uninstalled 2 apps w,/ similar claims of capability and performance just previous.... The promise of no ads got my reluctant pointer finger pushing the install button. I'm here to toot a horn for the developer(s). Efficient, easy to navigate, & a variety of tools and customization options . I admit, it was also entertaining to walk around the house and yard figuring out what signals came from which neighbor. |
