2024-11-27 | nomadkhan84 | A lot of pushing pay to play, forcibly. Meaning you won't be able to play things like events if you dont dump hundreds. I'm 3rd strongest player on our server yet i can not even beat the first fights of the Thanksgiving event. The demoness hero (100$ hero) ult is OP, instant kills everything. It's really stupid. I don't have it but the two stronger 'players' ranked 1st and 2nd do and it just really ruins any balance.
2024-11-03 | Paul Dolan | It's ok to pass the time, but, don't expect to be able to make any suggestions, because, unless you want to pay, you get ignored, it is very much pay to play, especially if you want to get into the higher tiers, I've made suggestions like options for the taverns like in the original-ignored, dismissal button for heroes and units so you don't have to use unwanted of either with reimbursement- again-ignored, so, if you pay good money, they may listen, otherwise, highly unlikely. They don't listen
2024-10-13 | Gerson GN (NosregAG) | One major drawback is the inability to skip or remove the tutorial. While the tutorial is helpful for new players, it becomes frustrating for seasoned gamers who are already familiar with strategy mechanics. The forced tutorial feels tedious and restrictive, taking away from the freedom to explore the game on your own terms. For many, this becomes an instant uninstall factor, as the lack of a skip option can make players feel locked into a predetermined path from the start.
2024-07-12 | Montana Christeson | Update: AI still lackluster. Devs do not care about player opinion. Changed from 2 stars to 1 star. Game continues to make no sense. Campaign gets progressively more difficult but the rewards stay the same. You get to a point where you can't win the full campaign and the best you get is uncommon and an occasional rare. On top of this I had 5mil power vs a guy with 2.6 mil and I lost to the guy with half my power. Update 2: lost to 1.9 mil power while I'm 5 mil all units 6 star and awakened. Yea.
2021-04-11 | klipox | Not like y'all care, but after spending a couple dozen hours on it I had a good time. I loved the old heroes games and figured I'd try it. P2Win is pretty bad but on par with most games. My biggest issue: there were way too many things to do daily to keep up. I shouldn't have to spend 2+ hrs a day grinding to try and catch up. I get it, it's not supposed to be something you get good at right away, but there's too much stuff to do on a daily basis before you can do other things and relax
2021-02-19 | WhistlinDixie5000 | Seemed like a fun game, at first, so I spent a bit of cash (after the tutorial) to give myself a quick start. I then went to join the Discord, through the in-game link, but it locked up. I was unable to get back to the game and had to force-close the app. When I came back in, my purchases were gone and I was back to the middle of the tutorial! Apparently this game doesn't auto-save after purchases, so you can be screwed out of money if something forces you to quit the game. Beware!
2020-07-06 | Dan Stuen | This is a clone of other similar character collection strategy time gated mmogs. It takes some iconic Heroes themes, graphics, and sounds and turns it into a microtransaction daily slog. I've played a ton of games like this, usually for 2-4 weeks before moving on. Primarily because none of them have Google play Achievements and the in-game progress slows to a crawl near the top tiers of the game. We still need a mobile version true to Heroes of Might and Magic. This isn't it.
2020-03-20 | A Google user | I think this game would be better without all the timers and energy bars. They make the whole the whole thing into a chore because i feel like i have to use up my energy or I'll lose it. It has some interesting concepts. the combat tutorials (that for whatever reason don't show up until several hours into the game) show you that the combat has more strategy than first appears. but at this point i feel like it would be weeks until I unlocked enough troops and heroes and things to enjoy it.
2020-03-12 | A Google user | Games doesn't feel like the might and magic games I've played. I don't like being stuck running through the forced tutorial they call gameplay. I want to explore and build the army I want. Not follow through playing the game how they want me to. Even with that I thought I would power through and see if I enjoyed it. Except it reset my progress. Battles I had previously fought I had to do again. Not a fun game. Just another boring mobile game with no creativity beyond forcing microtransactions.
2020-02-24 | A Google user | This isn't a bad game by any means. That being said, I uninstalled it. I played for a week and just got bored. Except for the "soldier" characters, this game is nothing like the original Heroes of M&M III. I'm sure strategy comes into play at some point, but it takes too long to get there. The tutorial took like 30 minutes in which you can't even explore the game, just forced to click where the tutorial prompts you. Then after, you're left wondering what you're supposed to do & how best to do it |
