| 2024-11-28 |  | | I've given Uber Eats a lot of chances, and I've even said I've given up on using it multiple times in the past, but I'm just so fed up now and rather not use it ever again. Three times in the last month, my orders were incredibly late to arrive, which always led to the food being cold. As a member of their subscription, they used to provide compensation for late deliveries, but I guess they don't care anymore. Unless something changes, I will be only using Doordash from now on. Uninstalling now! |
| 2024-11-26 |  | | I placed an order in a different location than where we live. I selected a restaurant near our Airbnb and for some reason the app inadvertently switched to the restaurant near our home. Within minutes, I realized that the order was placed at the wrong location and cancelled it immediately. UberEATS charged me $35. When I returned home, I checked on it. Was definitely charged and tried to dispute or have it removed and there is no option to do so, whatsoever. Cancelling my acct. |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | I'm starting to trust the delivery a bit more. I've had problems in the past because I live in a large apartment complex and Uber 's navigation system was inaccurate. The app is weird. Even if I'm paying with Uber cash I need to "pretend" pay with a card. Once an order is placed, it completely disappears from the screen. I have to go search for it in my order history. |
| 2024-11-24 |  | | This was my first time using Uber Eats and it was a terrible experience. I used the promo for $25 off and it showed that I was only being charged for the tip. The delivery driver was sent from a further location (it showed 10 miles but it turned out to be 18 miles) so my food was cold by the time it got to me. Then even after the food was delivered it showed it was canceled but showed I was charged the full amount!! 😡 |
| 2024-11-24 |  | | The drivers are super conscientious- sometimes going above and beyond and that's greatly appreciated--- the app in itself has become more pricey to use; between the higher prices of the items(higher on the app than if one bought them from the vendor), the service, delivery fees- it gets to be almost out of reach.... I have found that the pool of restaurants from which I can order has significantly increased. This being a bittersweet experience, as the fees are also significantly increased. |
| 2024-11-24 |  | | I've been using Uber eats for years, and I pay for the membership as well. Over the years they have just inflated the price of everything to where it costs a arm and a leg to get something delivered with "special" fees added on. They're refund policy has been good to me all of except this year. I had an order show up past the latest delivery time, got nothing for it. Sometime before that I made a different order, and my food got dropped off at the wrong location, and I got nothing for that too |
| 2024-11-24 |  | | Over charges on taxes, fees, and tips. Cancelled an order within seconds of ordering on the app and called the store to cancel as well. But the entire bill was still charged to my account as a cancelation fee for a product that was never even started! So they got to steal money from me and refused to give it back. Dont use this service! |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | It's very inconsistent. If a driver doesn't pick up your order, you're stuck. You have to pay almost full price to cancel and Uber Eats won't communicate with you to try to resolve the issue. They take your money and give nothing in return. No food. No help. No communication. Feels like robbery. I'm very disappointed. I'm even an Uber One subscriber. |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | I pay for a membership and the rates are still EXTREMELY high. They don't remove the delivery charge until after tax has been added. I noticed on orders with "free delivery" they end up raising the "tax and fees" price. They rate changes from the time you select your order to the pay option. Ubereats is really a scam. Not worth it at all. No benefit of having a membership what so ever. |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | Tired of missing items, cold and overpriced food. Drivers pick your order up over 30min after they've been assigned and it's been ready for pick up. Not worth spending ridiculous amounts of money to be ripped off by a cheap experience. Customer service is non-existent, and if they forget a $10 item, you'll only get refunded about $3. Would give 0 stars if possible |
