| 2024-03-01 |  | | Yeah, I'd say the app is junk, considering I just installed it (and reinstalled it), but can't get past the warning that it doesn't have access to location information. It's my music & photos it doesn't have access to. And why would I grant that permission - it doesn't need to have that level of access in order to turn some lights on. My guess is that's why I'm getting the other error message. Will most likely just run the lights off a 5V power supply & toss the rest. |
| 2022-12-17 |  | | It stopped pairing to the dumb smart hub after 2 weeks. Followed all the reset procedures in their help base, none worked. The smart hub just slowly flashes blue. It connects, but does not bond. The idea that you're going to make this only controllable by bluetooth devices is absurd when the application driving it barely works. By the amount of similar reviews it's clear this is a huge problem and they have yet to fix it. This could have been avoided by including a SWITCH Waiting for an update. |
| 2022-12-16 |  | | i got it for my street bike, very slow connection and controlling issues, it gives you an option to upload your own vehicle but then app shuts down when you try to do it, good thing I got the set up for dirt cheap woulda been pissed if I had paid full price for it save yourself the disappointment and jus go get yourself a legit kit. just not worth it in my opinion |

For those of you that haven't figured it out yet the android app is bugged af. The ios version works sometimes but i assume thats bc ios is strict. It's bluetooth 4.0 compatible but my s22 ultra wont connect. I emailed them and got a condescending response. Way to go support team! So no steer clear unless they fix and will take down multiple reviews once the problem is fixed. |

And now I'm trying to add another one to it and it keeps crashing as soon as I hit the * button. Now it's saying there's a bug and the developers need to fix it. What's up guys? Should I invest my money in a different brand... frustrating! |
| 2021-12-07 |  | | The app needs work big time. Take too long to connect and if the phone screen goes to sleep or if you where to get a call the app looses the connection and have to restart. I have 2 other led products not made by stype and apps work very will quick connect and stay connected until you say to disconnect. As for the product it's self its great. Plenty of colors and different styles. Could be a little brighter but does well for where it's placed. |

But I have not really tested yet for its Reliability in the field. nice wiring harness . Would like to see a wiring harness extension that allow you to reap other benefits of owning the light. Simply a more flexible and applicable. Would like to have had a old school switch for simply on / off --- hi/ lol Etc. And free up phone ; I don't always take mine every where I am. |

Can't use it while playing music. Your options are minimal at best. For the money spent not worth it. I like the concept but far from what you would expect for the money spent. |
| 2021-03-21 |  | | I've had this kit for years. Had issues with1st one, they sent a new one and always had same issue with 2nd. The kit is everything I want and need inside the camper on my truck except the things will not stay on for more than 10 seconds. I did some rewiring this weekend, everything on my end is right, all the lights work, all the modes and colors are correct but it WILL NOT stay on for more than 10 seconds so I give up. Ill go back to ignoring they're even there cause they useless |

For those having a strip flashing and another strip staying solid with a different color, check the zones in the app. Long press on one of them and select "select multiple ", and then tap the zones you want to group. If you are having an issue with a strip not coming on, look at the different zones in the app, and if any are grayed out, that means that zone is off. Simply tap on it to turn it back on. |
