Every new version of Chess Stars became more unstable and annoying to play. Excessive rewards and promotions make the game laggy and more often than not it will crash. Worst part is It will disconnect in the middle of a match making you lose points. I can't list all the issues the game has on this 500 character review. Make the game simple again!!! Stop adding unnecesary things |

Little things like kicking me out of game made me lose points but overall a good app. Then the second day my profile isn't correct and i am not getting any points anymore. Tried emailing the developer and still no email back. Everytime i click the help button on app it goes to black screen and have to exit the app. It has my profile as a weird name from the country of Latvia. |

These last few times it happened I was about 2 or 3 moves from check mate each time. I give it one star because how the game will just close and not give the option to reconnect to a game. Literally thousands of coins and ratings down the drain. You can never get a real rating of that keeps happening. And no one wants to lose what they earn in the blink of an eye. |

Doesn't matter how fast you play, at least a second of time will pass each move, and usually 2 seconds pass. 3 fold repetition will freeze the game. Ads pop up in the middle of games. Chock full of bots that play the same bs lines. They have hints you can use in "live" games?? The "stars" currency you get from winning games is pointless. I have 120 million coins stacked for no reason. I can't think of a reason to use this app over other options available. |

Although the actual app works great, it allows for players to sit for 30 mins and not make a move, in the Hope's that you get so bored and leave...which of course means you lose and they win. Why this app allows a player to not lose for not making a move after 10+ mins is beyond me. This happens about 10% of the time and it makes for a bad experience. Sadly, I am reading reviews from 2019 where the game makers ID'd the problem and promised to fix it. |

The second game froze when the opponent's time reached 1:23. Both games I was winning. I read the reviews and this game is not worth my time but it is worth my time to let others possibly know of problems before they waste their time. It is criminal that quality has been sacrificed. These adds make them richer and profit is all they care about. Everyone needs to speak out. |

I could move anything and my time was running all the way down. I wrote the game app and got no response. My bad but that's a deal breaker if your app is closing me all my hard earned coin (points). |

Won't let me more for long periods during timed games. Move the wrong square sometimes. I can't reside or lowered the amount on the game. Looking for new free chess app. Can anyone recommend one? |
| 2021-02-02 |  | | This game would be perfect if a couple things were changed. 1st being the having to log into facebook just to make a profile. 2nd being the fact that I lose points when the game disconnects. I don't think its fair to pay a penalty if the servers crash! That's not the players fault at the end of the day. All in all, great app, despite the issues stated above. |
