| 2024-11-25 |  | | I really like the improvements they've made especially with the assistant. However, I have a couple of problems. I had Truecaller installed on another phone and I could choose several assistant voices but now I'm restricted to two. And this is on a pixel 9 which shouldn't have any problems. The second problem I have is the SMS application. I can't send audio files like I used to. I can't send video either so the SMS app still needs a lot of work. |

It says it will send an error signal to callers so they might take your number out, but if that were true, how are they able to leave me voicemails? It's just extra buttons to do what my phone can do natively. I'm uninstalling it now. |
| 2024-11-16 |  | | This app was excellent in deterring unwanted calls by using the AI assistant to target unknown numbers, but the SMS feature of the app fell short with it's complete inability to mute group texts. Deleting a group text from family isn't an option, and I need to see the group text later, hence a mute button is a basic feature on my phone's default SMS app. If this issue is addressed I'll come back to THIS app and gladly pay for an annual subscription. |
| 2024-11-15 |  | | Less than great .... Truecaller has some good attributes.....and when it's not acting clunky and actually working like it's supposed to It's great... I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra on the Verizon network.....and when it works it's great but so many times it's clunky and when it connects a call I cannot hear the person so I have to hang up and call them back....they say they can hear me but I cannot hear them...so the idea is a great one but it's unreliable at this point |
| 2024-11-14 |  | | I've used premium TC for 7 years. Great spam blocker, used many times a day before the elections. Earlier issues with TC squishing gifs or duplicating Chat messages as SMS have been fixed. Assistant was too complex. Now it's been trashed so badly that there's no voicemail option with an outgoing message recording in my own voice! "Help" menu says to use an option in a menu that no longer exists. Verizon "premium" voicemail is bottom-of-the-barrel, but at least there's a barrel. |

I DO like the fact that it cleaned up unnecessary text messages I had but for me to give you ALL the permission that you requested, you gotta do better than this. Very disappointed! 11/13/24 Unfortunately there is no option to update, this was the latest version. |
| 2024-10-24 |  | | Very disappointed. It pushes ads as notifications. It tries to get you to use its AI, and doesn't let you hide/delete the conversation. Reporting is annoying tedious - instead of having a report spam button immediately available, you have to open up the profile of a number and go through several clicks just to start a report. I downloaded the app to reduce noise and spam, and instead it gave me more. |

Often when I select multiple MMS messages to delete the icons just don't appear. I have to kill and relaunch the app to get it working again. Might need to cancel if it doesn't start working again... |
| 2024-09-25 |  | | MMS doesn't work for me. VZW and LG text apps displays MMS just fine on my phone. I like the other features! UPDATE-I've decided to cancel premium subscription. After "months" of working with them, the MMS messaging STILL doesn't work. It's sad because I really like that it has calling/spam blocking & messaging all in one, it's just that I get a lot of MMS messages and NONE of them are viewable!! NONE! So, I'm done. Going back to free version. Just canceled annual sub. Happy Truecaller? |

They are given more screen space than your actual data and are displayed in call/text notifications, so the annoyance of ads from outside is replaced by equal or greater annoyance of ads from the app. Net loss, don't use it unless you like the paid price. |
