Too hard. Easy mode feels like Hard mode in Episode 2. Maybe the characters we can buy are a lot better. I'll never know. I'm not going to risk buying them only to find them as weak. Easy mode should be relaxing. I shouldn't die even once.

This game is amazing, but it might benefit from some quality of life improvements! The music loop is not seamless and the fonts are too small for mobile! The menu graphics should be improved! Make improvements to the game! Maybe release an Anniversary Edition! Turn-based RPGS are rare these days! I bought the game and two in-app purchases even though I have some nitpicks! Don't abandon this classic RPG game! Make key QOL improvements! Release an Anniversary Edition! It's that good IMO!

Everything you want in a turn-based rpg. Good system, variety of characters, level up choices, depth of story and challenging combat. Playable on my 6.5" screen phone and 7" tablet, beautiful on my 10.5" tablet. Try before you buy is nice, too. Heartily recommended. These devs get gamers!

Feels like a p2w game where the enemy gets harder way too fast. It likely is not coincidence that you can spend another $8 in the game to buy 4 other characters. Also, its an extra $1 to repec your characters. My main problem with this game is that all 4 of your characters have to use mana. The regular attacks miss and deal little damage. So after every single battle you have to run back to a rest area. It gets insanely worse in episode 2. The amount of times you die in this game is crazy.

Tough to believe this came out TEN years ago! Customisable difficulty, great tactical combat, good story and world, brilliant dungeon design and a solid gameay loop. The game is also Huge, clocking in somewhere upwards of 80 hours on "hard" difficulty. It's been ten years since Episode 1 launched, and it's as satisfying as ever. Works great on modern phones, too. It's a shame the extra characters don't come with the premium edition, as they have their own unique dialogue and story!

I have been looking for a good turn based strategy RPG with a well written story and engaging characters for quite a while now. Full disclosure: I purchased the game and all 4 of the pay extra heroes and am playing a party with the 4 purchased heroes. The dialogue and backgrounds for each hero is superb and you learn about each character's past and how they are trying to atone. The world history is rich, NPC dialogue good, and the game is excellently written and extremely fun! Witch is COOL.

what I love about this game is how Deep The exploration and random conversation system is, one of the best rpg games to ever play by the tres bros this and Temple of battleForce one of my two favorite games from them but the game can be unfair at times like, why does the enemies get more turns then the players?? it takes all the fun away and it wouldn't be that much interesting play anymore ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the developer's other games, but this one seems to be the worst one for combat. You will always miss significantly more often than your opponents, and after the first boss, they start to deal way more damage than you can deal, as well. The curve is drastic and makes it not enjoyable to play when you constantly struggle in every single fight. No respawning enemies or ways to farm exp/gold (understandable) but the difficulty curve needs some way to mitigate it.

Talking simulator. It has some walking elements too, but you'll be too busy skipping thousands of random conversations to have much time to work on your quadriceps. If you're lucky you will finish a whole section before being forced into the next chapter. But you will never find a pickup you need, so exploring isn't important anyway. Best bet is to walk directly to conversations and hope it saves sometimes.

I enjoy the gameplay; the strategy is satisfying. I just need more info! I can't find my characters' complete parry rating and I would like to see all stats in one spot, instead of scattered about their character page in a confusing way.
