| 2024-10-17 |  | | It's ok, not great. Features between Trace and Veo wash each other out. App is not android friendly. Support is much to be desired. I had to figure a lot of bugs out myself. When they can't help you, (usually, they can't) it get frustrating and if you call them out on their poor service, they will cut you off (with a year pro-subscription, paid in full) and force you to return the camera. Can be a great thing, has a lot of potential to be great. But just ok for now. |

I opened a support ticket via their website because the support link does not work on the app & received this reply: "Connecting to the live preview is not imperative to filming. We understand that it is nice, but as long as the camera is pointing directly across the field, the lights on the bottom of the camera are flashing and the camera has told you it's recording, you're all set.“ |

Making youth soccer teams buy an iPhone as a requirement made it impossible for me to participate in my child's soccer team TraceCam support. It just adds more load on our already overloaded team manager. I was excited to help the team but when it almost seemed to work and got zero feedback if camera was doing anything, I became suspicious. When the FAQ confirmed, I I was deflated. |

Can't submit support tickets via the app. It gives error. Only works thru browser. 3. Customer service is email only. They close tickets without solving, force you to open new ones on same issue 4. The UI is bad. Can't edit highlights. i.e., if a highlight is not marked a goal, you can't add a goal tag, player tags, etc |

I'm unable to connect to the camera. I really wish I would have checked these reviews when deciding between Trace and Veo. I was able to get some things working with my son's iPhone, but event that was quite buggy. Required a few restarts to finally get things going. |

Which you need to set up your camera correctly when recording a game, otherwise you setting up blind. I contacted customer service and they told me that it's normal for android users to have issues to use an iOS device. Haha 😄 |
