| 2024-05-01 |  | | Edit '24. From5* to 2* after initial joy of being able to see again number of dislikes on youtube I grabbed a calculator and did my own calculations. And the results are no good. I don't know how the numbers here are calculated and displayed, but they don't match. I understand: rating is "upwotes divided by number of ratings". And here they are of by sometimes more than 20%. Usually showing it better than it is. I am giving it 2* because at least it shows something and you can do your own maths. |

This app had the likes correct, but the dislikes were placed at 813, which is pretty far off. I think what it's doing is estimating to decide whether the video would be more disliked or liked according to how many people had watched it and how many of those watchers had liked it. Overall, I don't think it is actually giving accurate answers. |

That's why sometimes you'll see a video with zero views but multiple hundreds of likes etc. The ads aren't even intrusive so I can't complain about that. Some apps are horrible with the ads. You just click one button to go back and it only takes a few seconds. Not bad at all. |
