2024-11-26 | Miguel Hernandez | Terrible UI for simple per project tracking. 1) there is no project page to edit projects, such as changing client 2) similarly there is no page to just start tracking a project, instead you have to create a task and then assign it to a project 3) you sometimes can't edit the times for certain tasks, for example calendar ones, 4) there is no way to set repeated meetings to always track and keep the client and project info, ... I could keep going but you get the idea.
2024-09-24 | chara frisk | Destroyed my tracked times. One of my times didn't attach to a project. While looking in the calendar for what one, I accidently dragged a different one. No problem, right? Just hit cancel? WRONG. It saved a completely random time frame. I don't know the original time, so I can't fix it. Now, over trying to label 10 minutes, my time is completely inaccurate.
2024-04-02 | Samo Zeal | I tried to contact customer support, but after wasting an hour, I can find no way. Help page says: Toggl Track Support can be easily reached via chat. You can start a chat using the purple chat icon in the bottom-right corner of every page while logged into the web app. Tried that. It's not true. IF there's a way to contact someone it certainly isn't easy. When asked if my question was answered I click 😞 but nothing happens. I just want my entries to stop rounding to the nearest 5 min.
2024-03-02 | Julie Bee | App is good, desktop site is better. I love it enough to pay for the higher tier, so I highly recommend it. My only gripe is that it's hard to navigate the app. That said, I pretty much only use the app as a convenient timer on my desk and do everything else with toggl on the desktop website. I love being able to start, stop, adjust times, add notes, and select the project and tags super quickly and easily from my phone. If you have multiple clients or need to bill by project, this is THE app.
2023-07-20 | Shaun Kahler | Hey can you guys fix the swipe action on the calendar? You have to literally swipe all the way from right to left or vice versa to switch days. It should have a smaller swipe range. Happy to change this review once fixed. Edit: Can confirm, issue was dealt with in a timely fashion. The swipe action is *almost* there, I don't like when it moves slow (ever), just always rapid movement after a left/right swipe. But the swipe window is certainly smaller than it was, which is great.
2023-06-13 | Justin Fahringer | My organization just implemented time tracking and only gave us a ServiceNow page to do it with. Pretty clunky as you have to put in the daily totals for each category. With this app I have set up each category we track as a project. This makes it very easy to switch between them though out the day and then let me enter the totals at the end of the week. Very easy to use and having the desktop and phone apps is great.
2023-06-03 | Lucy Sutherland | Dismal Free Trial, non-intuitive! Tested on Android. No way to edit project titles. No way to delete accidental project starts without deleting entire stack. Meaning all records lost for the day. Volume on Pomdoro could be heard next door. No way to work on two projects in same time frame, app not made for multi-tasking! No tag list, project list, etc. I don't want to use a PC for everything important. Also displayed my email name instead of the name I set in some places.
2023-04-05 | Mary Bowler | I started using toggl years before Toggl Track was a thing. While I don't use it for billing, it makes tracking my time so much easier! I have to use a third-party system for work, and the reports on the website make this weekly chore a breeze! Highly recommend for someone who has an interrupt driven job against multiple projects and clients.
2022-10-06 | Han Zhang | Edit: the bug seems to have been resolved. I've used this app for over 4 years - basically nonstop. For some ungodly reason, they decided to make it so that if you update the description of a task, the task rounds itself to the nearest minute, rounding up. This ends up adding 10-20 minutes over the course of the day for no discernable reason. I don't understand why this was even considered as a feature.
2021-09-24 | Pinky Saxton | Simple & Concise. I do wish I could change the default to non-billable, as I downloaded this for personal use. Otherwise you have to change it to non-billable each time you create a new task name. Other than that, it's a great way to quickly log time. The timer runs in the background, even when I've closed the app, which is very helpful. |
