"Open Note Scanner" is an open-source Android application that allows users to scan handwritten notes and printed documents. It automatically detects the edges of the paper on contrasting surfaces, compensates for perspective distortion, and saves the adjusted images. Integrating with RocketBook Wave notebooks for quick scanning and supporting usage from other apps, it's a convenient tool for note-taking and document management. Available on F-Droid and GitHub.

This little application provides a way on scanning handwritten notes and printed documents.
It automatically detect the edge of the paper over a contrastant surface.
If you have RocketBook Wave notebook or home printed pages it automatically detects the qrcode printed on the bottom right corner and scans the page immediately.
After the page is detected, it compensates any perspective from the image adjusting it to a 90 degree top view and saves it on a folder on the device.
It is also possible to launch the application from any other application that asks for a picture, just make sure that there is no default application associated with this action.
Cropping capabilities will vastly improve the app experience. Poor processing power, can't be used when scanning colourful documents (economy grade output).
This app has a lot of potential, but lacks what can be found in freemiun commercial apps, and even an open source app like OpenScan. It's just missing an intro demo to show users how the app works, more filters (which can be adjusted and added/edited after the scan), a page perspective tool, crop tools, and DPI quality adjustments.
