| 2024-12-16 |  | | Trash. Worked great for a few nights. Then last night the app randomly stopped working at 5am. It was still running , but wasn't making any sound. Woke me up when there was sudden silence. Tried restarting it, nothing. Tried restarting my entire phone. That got it to work again, but there were skips in the sound. Every 5 seconds it would go silent for half a beat then start again. I lost so much sleep last night. Had to download another app. I would never pay for this trash. |
| 2024-12-10 |  | | This app helps me a great deal with sleeping at night. I like that you can choose between different colors of noise. However it's not super stable. Last night, for example, it closed itself 3 times. It doesn't do that most nights when I use it, but it always wakes me up when it does. I do think it's still the best of the free white noise apps available, though. |

Can't even check time etc without the sound stopping which is less than ideal. Issue not resolved updates to 2 stars for this bc when it stops randomly, I wake up. The whole reason to have it is to get uninterrupted sleep. đź‘Ž bummer |
| 2024-09-23 |  | | I Love this App... can't sleep without it. A couple of years ago I moved to a very quiet neighborhood... too Quiet; the silence was deafening! I tried a couple of other White Noise apps, but there was always something preventing me from using them for more than a couple of days. Then I found this one. Awesome features; one of which allows me to combine multiple sounds creating a Perfect Storm for me to sleep by; and a feature that turns my phone into a bed-side clock. Great App... a Must Have! |
| 2024-09-19 |  | | Update: I've been using this app for years for my kids but recently I've noticed it glitches in the middle of the night waking my kids up! Going to try out another app to see if it works better and doesn't wake my kids up when the purpose of this app is supposed to help them sleep better. 2 things would make me love this app more. First if you could keep it playing while going to different apps. Second if it would shut off when a call comes in. Thats the most annoying! |
| 2024-09-17 |  | | I just came back to add another star to my review. I've been using this app for a long time; I use the Brown Noise to sleep. Then recently, it started crashing overnight for no reason--the sound would just stop. But in the past two weeks, it hasn't crashed at all, and I think it's because I started minimizing the app on my phone screen. So I'll start the app, press play, and then hit the "home" button on my phone, so the app stays active, but in the background. It seems to be working. :) |

I use a high velocity fan as well, but the white noise makes a big difference. doesn't give me any trouble. no ads, no payment. no issues. :) I've been using it for about hmm I think 4 years now. |

I mainly use this to make white noise loud enough for sleep (to drown out household noises) and it's incredibly frustrating when four hours later there's almost no volume and I get woken up by some random sound I shouldn't be able to hear. make this consistent and lasting or stop pretending this app is good for sleep/meditation |
| 2024-08-15 |  | | Very useful for USB-C headphone adapters where the audio is automatically shut off in low volume or silence, and then takes a second to pick up again; it works well for something like Duolingo where there's lots of patches of silence and because of the automatic cut outs I would miss lots of words (which the white noise prevents). |
