I like comparing "then and now."The only reason I'm taking 1 star off is because it does crash pretty frequently, and I wish the "then and now" pictures were capable of viewing more of the whole image... like if there was a way you could make the image smaller and just have a black/white background in the areas that don't fit the frame. Other than that, I love this app so much!! Thank you ☺️ |

You used to be able to scroll past a whole year by swiping at the top but that's no longer available so it's aggravating to have to swipe past every individual picture AGAIN every time it crashes. |

I will save a photo, and the screen will go black. I will have to close the app completely and start back over to get it to run again. It is a good concept, and I love seeing my pics, but I'll have to do it with just my photo app. |
| 2024-02-21 |  | | Edit 2/24 - After trying all fix methods, I determined that the problem (below, from 2023) is due to me switching to professional mode on fb. Timehop works when I switch back to normal fb. I'm not going to uninstall TH because I don't want to lose my streak (currently 2420)! Hopefully this bug can be fixed in the near future 🤞🏻 '23 review: My Facebook written statuses aren't showing, only the photo/meme statuses. This happened earlier this year as well. I've un-/reinstalled, etc with no luck |
| 2023-11-07 |  | | Currently all my "1 year ago" memories are appearing in reverse chronological order, but every other year they show up from earliest in the day to latest. Also, can you please add a "are you sure you want to leave" button to keep me from accidentally backing out when I hit back too many times? Or if not that, jump me back in to where I left off? I've had Facebook for 19 years and I post a lot on other apps, I have a lot of memories each day. Having to re scroll is frustrating! |
| 2023-10-12 |  | | My only issue with the app is that sometimes when I open it, the 3 dots next to the date at the top of the screen don't always appear. There are often posts of mine that pop up from a decade or more ago, that make me CRINGE and I never want to see them again, I go to click on the 3 dots to select "Hide From Timehop" but then the three dots aren't there, so I have to fully close the app. And then I have to scroll through everything I've seen as well as the ads to get to the post I want to hide. |

However, I'm disappointed with not being able to see my Twitter history anymore because those were the memories I looked forward to seeing the most. I understand that Timehop isn't to blame for that. Twitter has made a lot of changes that people aren't happy with. |
| 2023-04-07 |  | | Edit: I had a 2 year streak and stopped getting notifications :( Due to this, getting an error message everytime I open the app (for months), and personal reasons that make me not want to look at old photos at the moment, I have uninstalled. Might reinstall one day. Original: Love the concept but sometimes the app will freeze and when I reopen it the memories have disappeared. Please fix it |

Then, when I go back, the whole screen turns black,as do the previous dates and the ones I have not gotten to yet. The only solution is to close the app,reopen it, watch that childish dinosaur, and start from scratch. It's very annoying. |

The app has near full page ads that if you place your finger on the screen to scroll (the only mechanic for moving through the app) it triggers an ad click and opens your browser. You don't even have to lift your finger like a normal click. Makes it almost unusable. |
