| 2024-11-29 |  | | The devotional content is great. But the app has been getting clunky in recent weeks, now to the point of crashing on date selection. I just tried reinstalling, and now, the "Restore Purchases" function doesn't work. I don't like the pushiness for purchasing a subscription. Like any other ebook, I should be able to read the three devotional books that I paid for. |

Navigation is super difficult, now you can't even swipe between days and the devotional, you have to repeatedly return to the contents. Super annoying. And now with the latest update, there are massive delays between every tap action I take. I've confirmed this on multiple devices, definitely due to the latest version. Just about ready to go back to the old fashioned paper devo. |

Dark mode has devotions that can't be seen unless highlighted because of font color + some missing. Developers were notified but no fix in over a year. New apps have added to server load and it takes minutes to load on 1 GB fiber. Very poor prrformace now. About ready to go back to book copy. Will update review when fixed. |

Every reading pertains to my situation at the perfect time! The App is extra simple to navigate and has been beyond a blessing to me during some tough times! I also want to mention that there is minimal if any Ads at all! |

I have corresponded with publisher numerous times; each time being told to uninstall and reinstall, to no avail. It is a wonderful book. However, app is worthless. *** Solution from developer: uninstall and reinstall, AGAIN!! Then, if still having trouble report through the app which doesn't work! |

The fixed version is 8.0.4. That version is not available for Android users. Sarah Young would be sick to see how they have ruined a huge pathway to seeking God. Extremely disappointed with this app, I don't recommend this app. |

Update 2/22/24: You would think this issue would have been fixed by now but hasn't! So frustrating! I previously paid for the app and now it is not letting me access content without paying a monthly subscription fee. I've emailed support with my transaction ID but haven't received a response or a fix. I guess I'll pray to Jesus that someone fixes this... |

I will probably just buy the physical (reliable) book, since the content itself is very good. I also see people complaining about the navigation 3 years ago, and I had the same problem years later. (And now I imagine I'll get the same copy-paste response that I do NOT have to purchase it again, which is just not working out). |

EDIT 5/2/23: Issues remain :( .. 6/29/21: I've been reading this book for years & am so glad it's in an app! I would've given it 5 stars but I had some issues: 1]when I choose certain settings (dark mode, font size, etc) the settings don't stay, I have to choose the settings EVERY time I open the app, 2]can't highlight/copy any text, 3] app reminder doesn't work. |

I love having the app on my phone for times when I don't have the book available. Very frustrating! ***Update: I had already updated the app, with the same result. "Today's Reading" still does not show today's actual reading, & requires a subscription. However, by trial & error, located library where my old content is. |
