This app is the PERFECT combination of data, discovery, and personalization. I LOVE the option to add topics, tropes, and writing styles that you like (as well as things you don't like) to generate better recommendations. The method for community ratings / tags is genius too - it helps you get understand the type of book beyond its genre. Plus, the data visualizations are super fun!! Light-years ahead of goodreads!

I started looking for an alternative to GoodReads and came across StoryGraph. It has every feature I could hope for, a super clean app, and it makes it easy for me to track progress and journal notes. I love that I can give quarter or half star reviews, and the ability to add content warnings is such a thoughtful touch.

Sometimes (most of the time) you have to click on a link (series or author) multiple times before it will actually go to that page. It also doesn't have multiple series under 1 book (if multiple series are part of 1 world). You can say you own a copy, but not where it was purchased(kindle/nook/etc). The stats are really nice. I've switched to using this instead of goodreads.
