2024-02-28 | George | With my old phone, this used to be a go-to app for some fun puzzle solving, boss fighting and "turn-based" combat. Now however, it's just a waste of a bunch of space in my phone, it doesn't even launch on newer systems it seems. I loved Binding of Isaac so much, to see Bumbo go down as an unrunnable app for almost no reason it seems.
2023-03-18 | Pyneal | Love the game but 2 REALLY huge issues which I doubt they'll fix unfortunately. 1) can't save or sign in to Google play so it makes even wanting to play this pointless. And 2) touch controls make it so that you may accidentally place your piece in a location you didn't mean to with no way to undo or lock in instead of just automatically locking in as soon as you take your finger off the screen. If they ever fix these I will update my review and play on mobile but until then just play on PC
2022-07-29 | Andrew D | Same problems other reviewers have had for years haven't been fixed. Screen is too dark during end turn screen, too easy to make mistakes with touch screen, and you lose your current game if you need to do anything else on your phone. Otherwise a fun game but these issues make the experience frustrating.
2022-03-22 | Justin Snow | Fun game love racing friends and sharing new strategies but there are a few ideas I would like to share with the Devs. 1.endless mode. 2.auto saves/save a run for later. 3. Fix bug of cancelling shop after buy/pickup softlock. Still its a good game would recommend would be 5 stars if it had more to do other then just beat all characters twice.
2021-11-23 | Anthony James | Seems fun to play at first, but there is a reality of mobile game play that the devs seem to have ignored, which is that touch screens and fingers are not an especially accurate control. But since this is a roguelike, they don't want to have an undo button, since that would spoil the challenge. Which means that unless you're being ridiculously careful every single time you move something, you waste SO many moves to the row landing in the wrong spot. Not fun. I uninstalled. :(
2021-08-01 | Drake Rose | There's a huge usability issue with sliding tiles. Sometimes you'll misalign when trying to line up a combo which could completely cost the game, the game lacks saving, some enemy sets are just impossible to beat, the bomb enemies damage you if you destroy them? How else are you suppose to beat them? Honestly I love this game, but it's got a lot of problems like balancing and the lack of a save feature. I would stay away from this game. Hopefully devs address these issues.
2021-07-09 | Ike O | Game is fun /addicting. Wanted to see if Issac had a mobile port then found this but in the week I've played it 1.)Alot of Cheap moments where attacks don't register. 2.) No save on runs 3.)some combos of trinkets break the game and left me in a black screen Skip room+double trinket effect 4.)no option to enlarge UI Big fingers on any screen smaller than a tablet makes for unintentional inputs
2021-06-30 | Casey Rodriguez | This game is fun but the lack of a save feature really holds it back. It really hurts when runs take half an hour only to lose all progress when you need to swap apps to send a text. Even when I only switch to the one app for a short period of time, I've only been able to return to my game once. I got this game with game pass but won't be purchasing it once my trial is up. Full price without being able to save is a deal breaker.
2021-06-24 | Nick Ziegler | There are 3 problems: 1) too dark/small (especially during "end turn" screen, you can't really see the upcoming tiles. This is when you use spells often so it's important). 2) easy to make mistakes with touchscreen since you can't see through your finger. Needs an undo button terribly. 3) need to be able to save progress at any time, or at least between rooms or floors. But this is a great and underrated game.
2021-04-30 | Jon C | Extremely fun and entertaining... a lot of people are just complaining about gameplay and saving mechanics that are super easy to fix... for instance sliding the tiles isn't nearly as hard as people are saying it is. Also even though the game doesn't save progress, as long as you don't completely close out, you can change apps or turn off the phone and come back to where you left off, no problemo. Although it has crashed on me once, so far it seems like people are complaining just to complain. |
