2024-10-24 | IslaDoesStuffs | This app is one of the best scanners. It got me through the Covid lockdown in highschhool, and still finds its use in college applications. Support was very helpful; they helped restore my lifetime payment from the old version of this app to the new one. I also like the implementation of their own cloud storage service! I do think the Plus plan should still have a lifetime option due to not needing to pay for cloud storage, imo. But the convenience of the plus plan is worth the money.
2024-10-01 | Josh Manning | Works very well, but I do not like being forced into an annual subscription if I want the premium features. The paywall is fine, but I'd prefer monthly billing, even at a higher cost. Unlike many, I will need this app only occasionally, so an annual sub doesn't make sense for me. Better still if I could pay once and be done with it, which I understand *used* to be the pricing model. Either way, you'll get no subscription from me. I'll cope with less functionality for the few scans I need.
2024-09-21 | Todd B. | I haven't entirely mastered the app yet because the darn thing is so fast to perform second scan after doing the first I can't even decide if it was a good scan or not. If I can do some minor editing to improve the final product. I haven't looked yet but, if not a feature already please consider pausing between scan and let the Consumer decide when they're ready to do another scan.
2024-09-07 | Elita One | This is THE document scanner app. I tried so many others.. one couldn't even keep pages in the order in which they were scanned. This one is flawless. You can't tell the document wasn't scanned on a flatbed scanner. It removes minor imperfections and reduces ones that are not so minor. It increases contrast so it's easy to read. I will probably send them some money, just out of gratitude, not because I need premium features. Love this app!!
2024-07-18 | Mark Woodbury | Doesn't have fancy touch ups like many of the document signing apps these days have. Which sucks because they look more professional like they came from a dedicated USB scanning device. However, it's free and no fuss, so you can't really complain. If you want those features, you are probably going to be paying $ for them.
2024-07-03 | David Blevins | Genius Scan been a game changing app for my business. I have never seen an app come anywhere close in terms of making it easy to add, remove, sort, shuffle or reorder PDF documents, combining into one document. It is highly effective and the fact that it is free,n almost makes me feel like I am doing something wrong or taking advantage of something lol. Thanks for this power tool! 💪🏻
2024-06-29 | Joe Von Wolfenstein | the pages look good. it seems legible and the contrast is easy on the eye. the scans are fast, much faster than the camera and little to no blurring . overall, it seems like a good app so far. now the question is : will the app programe allow me to have independent ownership and will I Be able to view it with any PDF reader ? i will let you all know how that works out. for the time being [a Christmas Oratorio] I recommend this app to anyone in need of digitizing a book.
2024-05-29 | Raul Alvarez | I've used this app for about 5 years, this is the dumbest update I've seen... you can search by relevance, date and title like before... you cannot sort date in doc title, recent date in title is at the bottom so you have to scroll to the bottom every time... you cannot sort by ascending or descending title in search mode. Edit: Thank you for the very quick response, I apologize for unloading on your app but it put me in a bind. I use the ascend/ descend very often.
2024-03-30 | Alix Dorsher | I'm new, but the image/text capture and reshaping of my extremely wrinkled receipt is impressive. However, it seems the app lacks options for fine tuning that seem necessary. When switching to a black and white image, the contrast and brightness make the image completely illegible with no option to adjust. I'm not sure that the app actually has any text recognition capability to allow for enhanced readability, but like I said -I'm just starting out, so maybe I've missed something. Will update.
2024-01-31 | Casper Xallan | It works, but it's not for long-term use. I used this all through college for my hw, which now takes up lots of space. Before they switched to a subscription model, I paid the one-time price to upgrade my app (now "Plus"). Unfortunately I still have a backload of documents that I have to archive. This is too difficult with "Plus" functionality. If you get this app now, good luck. It's tough to use. |
