I can honestly say they put far less effort into it. "US" game does not tell how many words are in an answer, other version does. There are odd clues/answers. E.g., I have never seen "cafeteria food" defined as "glop;" there are a few questionable examples just in the first puzzle but not enough characters allowed by Google to list. |

Didn't realise there was even a difference between UK and US crosswords. Being a US crossword at least you know the spelling is probably different. And the Teazle format is great. |

Most of the words are not even words that Americans use. Almost everything is either British or Australian. For example a Ute is an Australian term for a car/pickup hybrid. It is not a term that Americans use at all. |
