What started as codewords became code words/acronyms etc. For instance who in their right mind would use acronyms and things like "xmas" as a word? For me it started as a solid 5 and went downhill fast as it seems like puzzles were thrown together with whatever they could fit in the spots. |

When I figured out that there are some words that cannot be anything else, then the remaining ones finally reveal themselves, albeit painfully at times. I'm not the smartest guy but I like traditional crossword puzzles (on easy mode) and I know these kind of games help me expand my vocabulary. Give it a chance, you might be smarter than you think! |

Used to do them the old-fashioned way in my younger days (book and pen 😄) - but I rather like this newer version. Takes my mind off the troubling world we live in, for a short while. I have this through the Games Pass so can't comment on advertising, if any? Definitely something I'd recommend to those who love a different version of crossword. |
