Game's fun but my main complaint is the lag. The game keeps crashing when I'm in the middle of a match because of lag and eventually it gets to the point where it's just incredibly annoying. There's also the micro transactions which I dislike because there are just too many. If you want to unlock and play with any of the other packs besides the basic one, you have to pay. Hopefully they can fix this problem by adding a new free pack or something. I'd say more but I'm out of space now 😕.

Edit As of 9/24/24. It used to be perfectly fine and fun. Quick load times, occasional spikes but no crashing. One set of animals and just you, your brain and some animals. Now if you have a low-end device, (me!) you can't even get past the loading screen. I have been trying for AGES to launch this game with zero luck. How can I even give a good review if I can't play the game at all?

A random stuff
This is an awesome strategy game with no ads and optional purchases. Despite what one negative review said about the weekly pack taking out the fun of leveling up, this review is misleading because that weekly pack, true to the name, lasted only one week. This game is infinitely replayable due to the random draw at the beginning of each turn and the multitude of different strategies and builds you can create. Even with just the free turtle pack and weekly packs you won't get bored for a while.

Overall really enjoy this game. The team updates the game with balance updates and new packs every so often. The Matchmaking is hit or miss in arena. It feels like the game will decide your run after you grind past a certain point. It's very annoying. Versus is a lot of fun overall really. the name of the game is identifying viable strategies within the constraints of an ostensibly RNG based tiered-type autobattler. It's a little too much fun.

A great, casual game that I've easily sunk thousands of hours into playing! It's been out for a little while, so the competition can get a little "try-hard", but it's still a very enjoyable experience after a little practice. The game has asymmetric multiplayer, so it's easy to pick up and play at your convenience without having to stay glued to your device. One of my favorite games from the last few years, and I'm thrilled to see the devs are still frequently updating with new fixes & features!

It is cute. There are no forced ads. It is NOT pay to win. Mechanics are easy to pick up and multilayered, often getting balance fixes and the devs are extremely generous with what they give us. Multiple play modes. Customizable hats (for your team) and backgrounds. There are no annoying in-your-face ads in the UI. Seriously it's so clean. Unfortunately this kind of game is a rarity nowadays. I will be supporting financially when I can. Thank you so much! 🙏

Honestly I'd give it a 4.9 if I could just because on older phones it has a tendency to slow down and crash after a long period of playing. Other than that it's a 10 across the board. I love playing the Arena Mode as well as playing with friends. It's super cool cause you can customize your own decks. However, I think my favorite thing about this game is the developers. They understand that not everyone has money for their game, but they still make it fun and winnable if you don't buy the DLC.

I supported this game on Newgrounds, then on Steam and now on mobile, and it's just as good here as it was there. On an s21 the game is blazingly fast and runs at a butter smooth framerate compared to the PC versions. EDIT: The touch screen issues have long since been resolved since I made this review, and there's been a slew of DLC to enjoy as well! This is still very much worth your time.

Seriously fun and addictive. It's a really simple concept but with so many fun ways to play and build synergies. It's like a simple magic the gathering. Zero ads and the option to purchase new animal decks which the no ads alone make it worth it. No pay to win either, you can choose to play only against those who have the same deck as you. Only unlocks are cosmetics. I've had no crashes or performance issues and I play for hours at a time because I just keep... one more game...

I had this game for a few months prior to this review and I do think it is a very addicting, fun game. However as other reviewers have noted, the game often lags, crashes, or straight up refuses to open. This has only been an issue after the latest few updates, for me personally this started to happen with the Golden Pack update but got worse with each update after. If this is fixed, I'll update my review to 5 stars, what I would have given the game before this issue arose.
