The game is great, definitely does what it's meant to do but the issue I'm having is the monster button/ redo button/ back out button placement. It's 100% frustrating for my child and myself to constantly hitting that button while in the middle of a game. As directions are being given the ginger slips and there we go to the monster editor, or my child is in the middle of a game and slip there we go back to the main menu. It's not helpful at all when trying to learn.

This app is great and my kids absolutely love playing it. They've really learned a LOT. Would be 5 stars if all the sound effects weren't so loud. In order to hear the voice directions the game must be turned up quite high but the sound effects are then blasting at a volume much louder than the talking.

Amazing app. I definitely recommend it. Also, parents are able to go in and monitor their children's progress on a pretty detailed level. The online "parent portal" made it easy for me to see what combination sounds my son was struggling with, so we could work on building those strengths while reading physical books. My child is now entering 2nd grade and is reading English fluently (including words he hasnt read before) so we are on the next game (Reading for Fun); we both absolutely love it!
