I've have had these light several years ,never had an issue with them, till whatever the last update was sometime since July ( that was the last time they actually worked with my phone, now it's Oct & the lights are stuck on my July setting. Will not connect just spins and spins. I'm very disappointed there are no help options to reset the app or the lights to resolve this issue. 😕

I've had these lights for a few years, 5 globe lights, spot lights, and laser lights. They have worked great, until I tried to access them today through the app to change their times that they turn on. The app doesn't find any of the lights. After reading some of the reviews, it was suggested to uninstall and reinstall the app. So I did, nothing changed except that it asked to use my location. I begrudgingly accepted and it still doesn't recognize any of my lights. I want the old app that worked

The app is so unpredictable. We had no problem the first year then our neighbors got lights and everything went whackadoodle. We were controlling their lights. The app is so user UNFRIENDLY. There are virtually no instructions. It's a hit and miss. We finally discovered to lock our lights and unlock our neighbors so the control of each of our lights is restored. However, we still have strands that don't respond to the app. All the devices do not load when you go into the app. Bad app!

We are happy with the lights and this application. However, starting it (android version) takes long time, spinning in a such way that I think it is not connecting to the set. There is something wrong once the password is set: It does not stop spinning. I was able to have it working "tapping". Cleared the password, uninstall and reinstall. Move my app to my iPad, working fine there, so decided to uninstall it from my android device. Once all these glitches are fixed, I could try it again.

this app is total trash have major connectivity problems with s8, iphone x & samsung tabA. Like 10 min to connect regardless of the device. ( edited)- 4-24-20! The app has been updated but the connection issues are still there now using a Note 10+. Unfortunately still a one star. I have two of these lights and one will randomly turn on in the middle of the night and its always red. Also sometimes the remote won't work or its like the product/app froze and I have to start all over.

I cannot connect to my spotlights as it constantly says my Bluetooth signal is weak... Update: after developer recommended to unplug 3 times and then reconnect, the app is now working at the moment. It doesn't indicate that the app is connected to my spotlights, however, when I change colors and speeds my actions are acknowledged by the spotlights. All in all, it is working at the moment (though it was frustrating and took some extra actions on my part).

I never leave reviews, but felt this to be necessary after this experience. This app and device are garbage. Hot garbage to be a little more specific. It took about 15 mins from less than 2 feet away for it to finally connect by opening and closing app a bunch of times. Now step 3, all of the showhome products are greyed out. Strings light show tab gives an empty page. Open close reinstall power off on etc... Literally doesn't work...

I read some of the earlier reviews about compatibility, but seems to be working for me. The interface is somewhat simplistic: either you can pick a preset show, eg: Christmas, or you can pick a single color and pick its strobe/chase pattern. You can not make multi-color effects of your own devising, eg: red chased by yellow chased by blue.

Thinking there would be updates and fixes since last year, I tried again. They will not connect to my Android Samsung Note 8, with the message that it's not close enough. (Even though we were testing in the kitchen... iterally inches away.) We unplugged and restarted the process many time. It's a dud and I'm sorry I bought two sets.

they work great. i have the large spheres i got from home depot. the app could be improved. first, the mode selection toggle could have larger font. as it is now, i have to tap each option to see what it does. also would like to make individual spheres a different color. also would be nice to set my own pattern. id like to set the lights to a chase mode to guide folks to my door.
