2024-11-14 | Ev | Fantastic resource, 100% worth it for the upgraded feature with how often I use it. update 11/13/24: now there's this really annoying pop-up that tells me to turn on notifications every time I do anything. re appears no matter how many times I dismiss it. incredibly annoying, dropping from 5 stars down to 3 because of this banner.
2024-11-03 | Cookie | I don't see a way to search for Pokemon in DLC Pokedexes, only the main Pokedex, I would love a way to be able to select a game, the DLC Pokedex, and then be able to search for things like numbers or names through it, that way I could search the number it is in the DLC Pokedex instead of have to scroll. Other than that I would love to see Material You/Material Design 3, less cluttered UI and that's about it. A glancable way to tell game exclusives would be nice too!
2024-10-21 | Alistair Everett-Jensen | I couldnt seem to restore my purchase, however it just seemed to take a few minutes to fully kick in. 🙏 An amazing app. It's even better when it has the voice. I wish there was more voices, a different one but everything else is 100% what you're gonna need from a Pokedex. I love this version as something quick and easy on hand to use for reference in casual and competitive battles and setting up team. Really fun if your family is into Pokemon, I don't believe it's for Pokemon go
2024-08-11 | Caleb Fox | Great app with a bunch of useful information. I use reference it all the time, and it's much more convenient than searching the web. However, the information is based on the newer games. You can select which generation you're playing, and it will get most things right, but not everything. For example, the information about moves seem to be based upon the latest generation, rather than the generation you're attempting to find information for.
2024-05-13 | Tyler Brown | It WAS great, but the number of ads steadily increased. Now it's about an ad every 2-3 clicks, most of which have long delays to the skip button or are just unskippable. I could just google it in that much wasted time. Uninstalled and found a better one with no ads. I gave it two stars, because in spite of this, the app itself is good. Just rendered all but unusable by the ads.
2022-10-12 | Hokey Bugle | Best Pokemon database out there by a mile, been a pro user for years. It has all the info I've ever needed to look up. You can filter by game to get specific location, move, and typing information which is my favorite feature. The only thing I would love to see added is a setting to track individual pokedexes by game or generation. If I'm pokedexing in a modern game and a gen3 game, I'd love to track my completion for each individually. I do not use the dex completion feature because of this.
2021-10-23 | SpritelyBard | A great app I use surprisingly often! Every once in a while I run into a hiccup or two, like not being able to view alternate forms of some Pokemon (Such as the Shellos or less importantly the Vivillons) and the "hide forms" toggle not seeming to do anything. Otherwise though, the Pokedex itself and all it's data and features are super helpful, including the item, move, and ability -dexes!
2021-08-10 | LightKitty | I don't often review apps, but this one deserves it. Good interface, plenty of information, and minimal ads. There is a pro version but it's fairly cheap and only one feature is locked behind it, being the team builder, so if you're just using it for collection then you probably won't need it. I honestly can't think of anything wrong with this app.
2020-08-31 | Elijah Holmes04 | I love this app, and have had it for quite some time. I originally gave it four stars for having a "pro" option, but that's understandable. I've liked this app because it's clean, accurate, easy to navigate, but now it's becoming like any other mobile app. It used to be nearly ad-free, but now it's nearly every second thing you click there's an ad. The sprites also tend to not load, even on a 5G network.
2020-05-25 | Juan Sanchez | I was loving the app, and have been a long time user for a long time now, but recently it seems my version of the app no longer displays the Pokemon images and I can't find a setting for that anywhere. Edit: The issue I previously had with the app had been resolved within a day. This is why this is my go to app. Quick bug fixes, and an easy to use interface with great details on each Pokemon. 👌 |
