2024-12-04 | Jennifer Ife Goddard | Update: It's gotten worse. Now also locked out on Android. Receiving constant "test notification" pings on Android all day. Less than zero stars!---- Constantly locks out on ios. Had to download to android. Entire service is glitchy. Couldn't use laptop due to zero connection with workplace sso. My therapist is great though-- the only reason I keep using the app. After reading other complaints I'm now concerned about receiving erroneous charges. This app causes anxiety where there was none.
2024-11-06 | Brandon Peace | The app didn't properly save my emergency contact info, so after I completed my intake I was told I was still being matched with a provider. This continued for a couple of hours before I tried to add a note to the still being matched notification. At that time I was directed to complete my intake all over again, which then allowed me to book an appointment with a provider. Terrible experience getting started. Sure hope providers are more functional than the app.
2024-11-01 | Alice | The app itself is okay. Minimal but functional. There's room for improvement. The service is serving a need that a lot of people have but otherwise wouldn't have access to for many reasons. Not every provider (therapist) is great. But good providers do exist. The search for a good provider can be frustrating and take time, but it is worth it. There are documented issues with the app based therapy business model (in general not just Talkspace), but don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.
2024-10-16 | Ace Bruck | I've only been using Talkspace for a few weeks. My therapist has been wonderful thus far, and I have no complaints there. The app itself however is a glitchy and slow pile of garbage. It is incredibly frustrating to do what should be very simple things like confirming an appointment or sending my therapist a message
2024-10-10 | James Arendt | They do not provide access to a customer service hotline anywhere on their app or website that I could find. Google it. They want to force you to use bots with extremely limited options for addressing concerns & issues. There is no way to schedule 60 minute sessions. This company seems designed around milking insurance companies and out of pocket payer's wallets, rather than providing convenience, a user-friendly experience, or value to the customers. I'm exceptionally disappointed.
2024-10-08 | Liz Buckley | I absolutely love Talkspace and my therapist! The literal only complaints I have are with the app itself. Id love to see these added: Dark mode, A profile option for the clients (for our therapist - if nothing else an option to add a profile picture..). The app can be slightly glitchy at times, but it's not enough to be a problem. I'm giving 4 stars until some more features have been added, but overall a good experience!
2024-09-14 | Chris Morin | Do NOT use the one-week chat sessions. The first "therapist" didn't respond more than two or three short messages. The second and third gave only a cut-and-paste invitation to schedule a video chat session. These seem to be used primarily as a sales pitch, not to actually help. I had planned on actually using the feature... This was a waste of time.
2024-09-06 | eelhound | My experience with TalkSpace has been terrible. I was told I would be given extra notice before I was actually charged for my subscription, and that wasn't the case. With my bank account now overdrawn, I would need a complete refund ASAP before I even begin to trust this app again. My experience with TalkSpace has done little but add to the stress I sought to alleviate.
2024-09-05 | Evan Clarke | My therapist is great however the talk space app itself is extremely buggy, it's constantly messing around with the order of messages, if I try to send messages it oftentimes fails to send them or usually sends them but doesn't display the message so I end up having to restart the app multiple times. Sometimes it will send the message twice randomly. If it wasn't for the buggy as hell chat I'd give this app a higher rating.
2024-08-07 | tiffany scavetta | So far, I'm really enjoying Talkspace. They've connected me with a great therapist to start with- we'll see how it goes as we progress. The app is super user friendly, straightforward, and has everything there in one app. Video, messaging, payments, etc. So thankful to not only find therapy that takes my insurance, but *remote* therapy that accepts my insurance. Looking forward to my journey with Talkspace. Thank you! 💛 |
