When I first got the camera (Reveal Pro 3.0) and app 2-3 weeks ago it worked AMAZING other than sometime requested videos came through about 50-60% of the time. Up until this past week, worked amazing. I have the 5 shot picture mode on with 1 sec intervals, I'm being sent 5-10, sometimes more of the exact same picture, time sync is off. Even in mannuel time mode, time stamp is all over the place. I've rset camera and settings multiple times and even reinstall the app serval times.

App & camera has been working great for nearly two years. Now all of a sudden I'm getting notifications but when I open the app, it says I have no gallery because my camera hasn't taken any pics yet. I've submitted a request for help & will update this review when/if the issue is resolved. Edit: After about 2 weeks I received an email advising me that the app needed to be updated. once I un-installed, reinstalled & signed in, the app worked well.

I've tried many different brands of trail cameras. Reveal has the best app. The lithium battery pack lasts a long time. I'm not impressed with the solar charger. The mount is flimsy, and there really isn't a way to secure it from being stolen, like the competition brands. I have both the 2.0 and 3.0 cameras. I like both of them. They are easy to set up, the built in wifi and red line are great to make sure you've got it pointed to capture images. Best camera on the market.

I've used it for a few years. It's very good for the most part, but always some things you'd like to be different. Like why on earth would the weather info not be worth the HD version of the picture. If you request an HD and then delete the original, you no longer have the weather info.

Quality has gone down since I first bought my cameras, video function does not work and closes when I try to push on them to watch (android) its taken them weeks so far with no fix and 110% screwed me on a buck of a lifetime by not working. The pictures are way more grainy. Even when you request an HD picture there is not a lot of difference between the two pictures. Like I said before the pictures before used to be way clearer. I see my revised review matches many others. Frequently when I try and open the app it just comes up to a black screen. I will close the app and wait a few hours (usually works) and try again. Recently it has been getting worse. My XB camera no longer sends the video option to the app. I am becoming really disappointed with this service as it is unreliable. Also the HD photos that cost extra don't seem to be any more detailed than the originals.

App crashes or fails constantly, shows a black screen, and randomly when it does show a new picture, it's several (10+) minutes later. It completely stopped working last weekend, so I uninstalled the app and installed it again, and now it will not let me sign back in. I've only had this camera for 3 months. Not very satisfied.

App shouldn't make you refresh to see photos each time when you get alert. Regardless the app was closed and reopened, it should show latest photos when I load. Also it is not great UI. Trying to request an HD photo for example. You can't do it if you clicked the photo. You can only do it from the main thumbnail. Not at all intuitive and there is room. Get a focus group or read reviews. I see it asked all the time in FB group.

After the latest update, photos/videos take longer to load now. Sometimes videos have a black screen/won't play. Viewing recent new photos does not clear notification. Annoying confirmation dialogs that are not needed. Can't download multiple photos/videos at once. No zoom in video player. Landscape view no longer works for videos when holding phone that way. No way to tell if cameras are currently in operation. GPS shows location of phone, not camera, which is useless (Reveal XB).

Decent cam. Setup a little confusing. Need to jump back and forth a bit. Instant app, set up account w/ subscription, attach camera to account. Physical cam installation was easy, but it took effort to get the AT&T Sim properly seated. Lastly, the full size SD card type (32G, C10, U3) isn't really available at local electronics stores. Need a bit more simple guidance on cam configuring. Pics are high quality.
