2024-11-19 | T. “Tess” Young | I've had no problems with this Application. When our internet goes out, I can always rely on Norton to have my back. Only thing I found annoying was, when you go into the settings / activity logs there was NEVER any activity to read. I had been hoping that the logs might have helped to point out to me a reason Why? Only my phone would often be the only device effected at times. Most times. 3 T.V.'S, boyfriend's phone never kicked off. Or 3 other devices. But like I said it was always reliable.
2024-11-18 | Micah Anderson | I recently experienced a significant security breach while using Norton's security software. Despite having a subscription, I was still vulnerable to a hack that caused [describe the damages, e.g., financial loss, data theft, etc.]. I reached out to Norton's customer support to seek a refund, given the ineffective protection. While they were polite, the process was lengthy and ultimately unsuccessful.
2024-11-07 | GrumpyDragon | Always feel secure about my data and use online. Norton is my trusted source for security and VPN use. Many others out there but Norton has been around for the long haul. The only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to have the option to select the location for the VPN server. Maybe give us a selection - fastest or other location. That would be beneficial because many times with it selecting just the fastest doesn't help for certain applications or websites.
2024-10-09 | B STIZL | Used to work great. Now, if the VPN is off. It says my device is in Europe. Affecting apps like my bank app or Pandora, just to name a few. Beforehand, it would show accurate location in America when VPN was off. I was told by support that it's working as it should. It was working previously. Now, it affects apps indicating my phone is outside the US. I spoke with support and they were no help. I understand when the VPN is on I can select location. When it is off it s/ be USA not Europe
2024-09-24 | Eric C | Norton intentionally keeps services spread out among different apps. They could combine everything into one platform so subscribers could easily manage their accounts. By promoting confusion, people will inadvertently pay for the same product multiple times. Response: I absolutely do not accept that requiring multiple apps and multiple accounts is the solution to a bloated Norton. Use one app--if a customer doesn't subscribe to every option, then the entire app won't need to be installed.
2024-09-21 | Guy Incognito | Norton VPN is good for your computer but awful for your cell. Downloaded and logged in but it won't stay on when activated on Android. Drops off even when at the house and with a secured IP (As well as many other places). I mainly got it for the computer so I'm happy there, but if you're thinking of using it for the phone then I recommend going with another company. One star for the computer (But this is a review for the cell app), minus four for what was stated earlier.
2024-08-27 | Channing White | Since this app was updated to simulate a metered connection (i.e., mobile data), it has become a headache & caused issues with my other apps. For example, photos aren't backed up, podcasts aren't automatically downloaded, etc. because those apps are "waiting for a Wi-Fi connection" even when the device is connected. Please, please, please, fix the app so it no longer simulates a metered connection, or just make it an optional setting. If I'm connected to Wi-Fi, I want my apps to recognize that.
2024-08-08 | John | Norton has been pretty good. The only complaint I'd have is that the vpn will randomly try to connect sometimes on my pc and it will do it in the middle of a match. Edit: dropping a few stars because logging into the app from a new device is broken. The Google verification codes don't validate and it locks you out after you failed attempt to validate. Now I can't use the app.
2024-07-13 | Laurie Ivanhoe | 7/12/24 My VPN changed and not what it used to be. Before you could turn it off or on. Now the visual is different and constantly trying to connect. I checked all the preferences, active etc. Uninstalled/reinstalled restarted my phone and restarted router and it is constantly trying to connect. It did last night connect..not sure what I did or didn't do. But back to trying to connect.
2024-06-15 | Hollan Bell | Works great, barely slows things down when on, you can select your location, etc. Only problem is if you click "Real Time WiFi Protection" tab, it basically locks up. If you don't want it on, you can't go back, you can't do anything. You have to try and go out of everything and close the app. Otherwise, works well. |
