2024-11-24 | Kenny Webb | They got greedy. I bought this year's ago for around $40usd. Offline maps with updates, sure, I'll pay for that. Then added extra purchases for BONUS features, sure I could ignore that. Then moved some stuff to a sub and had ads for said sub... Fine I'll continue to ignore. Now you moved things I've had for years from my paid account to the sub, basic things such as audio while I Android Auto. It's gone too far and had become greedy. It's not even better than the free apps. Not worth it.
2024-11-22 | R icardo | All features (Premium (World Maps, Lifetime Traffic updates, etc.)) that I bought that were a one time payment are now totally useless and they put all those features behind/in Premium+. Premium has now become a completely offline product and in turn utterly useless. Best to stick with Google Maps/Android Auto or Waze. Just don't waste your money on anything Sygic related. @Martin, all basic functionality/features that were working before in Premium, have now moved to Premium+, Einstein!
2024-11-17 | David Martin | I've tried many GPS apps for location management and logistics over the years, but this one has proven the best. It's user friendly and gets you to your destination, unlike other premium apps. I'd recommend Sygic no matter what your destination, or to find out the best prices for gas to save money on your journey. You can also benefit from the speed trap camera alerts if your foot gets a little heavy on the way. A++
2024-11-17 | Robert Simi | first time using was great and it worked ok, it had to calibrate, at first was a bit late tell you when to turn but it fixed itself. On way back it was horrible, ill never use this app again. Voice wouldnt notify, had added its own extra way points and added two hours onto my trip and directing me out of the way of where i was headed. I didnt change any settings so idk what happenedPissed me off wasted my time, money. Dont use this app unless you want to go to other places than where u wanted.
2024-10-16 | Craig Dugas | I opened the app and immediately got an Android notice that it pasted in the contents of my clipboard. Too sketchy. Thankfully I didn't have a password or other sensitive info copied. EDIT: Canned responses like this are not helpful. You could take the time to explain what the automatic 'paste from clipboard' behavior is for and why it would be acceptable to implement this way. That's not the responsibility of a Privacy Policy.
2024-10-10 | Jeff Yigdall | I paid for Premium +. Maps look great and work well while not navigating in Android Auto. However, while Google Assistant responds as expected to "Navigate to", finding and implementing the location, Sygic pays no attention. Thus, unless a location is added ahead of driving, one cannot navigate. Also, sometimes even a previously entered and found location via my phone will not activate, will not be found, once in Android Auto. I've contacted Support several times, no replies.
2024-10-05 | Stephen Price | Could be a great app to replace Google Maps if only it had more locations saved and loaded good routes. Doubling my time to a destination I use daily is a shame. My route I take doesn't ever show up. None of the options have decent alternatives. I also sent feedback to them and haven't heard anything from them. Disappointing because it's a great UI and when it works well it does a decent job but since I can't trust it's routes I use something else.
2024-10-01 | G Oakley | Looks fantastic I thought I try it. After install I tried to set up. Asked about storage, internal. Asked for location access, sure. It was accessing maps, asked me to choose map. Then it failed. Try again, fail. Defaulted, reinstalled, same. I'm not contacting support from the start. It just doesn't work.
2024-09-20 | Keith Gorlen | I've had Sygic since 2015, and it's still *UNRELIABLE*. Map updates fail to complete. Search doesn't work. Unable to "Choose on Map". Routes sometimes go in opposite direction, then U-turn. Clumsy UI. Can't determine meaning of non-voice audio alarms. After update to 23.5.1-2257, fails to start "Something went wrong" on two Samsung devices. Licensing issues. Totally useless "support". Have reinstalled countless times. Plenty of prompts to buy add-on features, though.
2024-09-17 | S | Seems like it might be OK, but shows spam notifications. Ads are one thing (though I really don't like that you get multiple ads when trying to load the app, a big problem when trying to quickly navigate somewhere, especially when driving), but I get enough notifications without getting random ones pestering me to use this app. I'll use it when I need to go somewhere. Or not, since I'm uninstalling, because I'm not paying just to NOT have an app spam me, not to mention running when not in use. |
