2024-09-09 | Cara | I am also having the problem of not being able to find my accounts. Sometimes there are 4 then there are 2. The chat person said I have more but couldn't add them to my app. At $1.99 per paper statement it adds up. But so does the late payment if I don't pay it because I forgot it because it wasn't in the app. Very frustrating. I also, now, can't see my statements. It says to do something but doesn't say how. That's no help. Please help!! | |
2024-04-27 | Richard Leonard | Synchrony Bank offers a very competitive HY rate, a sufficient suite of online banking features/tools, and an account that is easily accessible from other banking applications (including Cash App) via ACH/EFT. The debit card is great to have for those rare times when you do need cash in hand. I'll give Synchrony Bank a five star rating when they support Zelle as their native peer-to-peer mobile payment application (like most every other bank hint . . . hint . . . ). | |

I CAN actually login on my phone, but can't really do anything, so it's rendered useless. I get a "please check your network connection and try again" message on the tablet. 2023-10-08 | Vincent Ng | The latest update (as of 10/8/2023) is buggy. Biometric authentication no longer works consistently and the entire app is extremely jittery and laggy. Busy / loading animations run at only a few frames per second, screen changes have considerable lag in response to user input, etc. The errant behavior seems to be triggered after using mobile check deposit. Clearing app storage appears to resolve the issue, but the issues resume once another check is deposited. | |

2023-09-02 | R | Horrible app. No features. The bank is extremely conservative with credit. I have other cards they service that give me four times more credit. Years with them never a single late payment and they won't increase credit line. When I pay them off I will use the card to buy a soda every six months. Don't waste your time with them. | |

App send me a code to enter, but, by the way it close it itself. No way to enter the code because is already closed. Also, It show wrong phone number to send the code. So, I have to select "my phone is not listed" and enter my cellphone number. I can not see my accounts on app: cd, saving, checking, credit card. Says that app has a bug. Every time it says "Unable to Connect Please check your network connection and try again" I've tried it on wifi , both with and without a VPN; tried it on mobile data; cleared data storage and cache: and, finally, a full uninstall/reinstall. It still does not work. The website works fine, however. | |
2023-03-14 | Greg D | Same problem as others with failure to login, but I found a "solution". If you have access to a U.S.-based VPN server, use it. That's right, it won't take your honest foreign IP address or a foreign-based VPN server, but it will take a U.S.-based server -- from the same VPN company! Another ignorant-as-rocks, 20th Century-based IT department, using a useless, feels-good (to them), security solution. The bank itself Is fine, and the website Is better, if not quite perfect. |
