| 2024-10-25 |  | | Got the trial to be sure I could make it cast to my TV, since that's the only way I wish to view the workouts (not on a tiny phone screen) and every single video has the cast icon "greyed out" and unaccessible. Contacted support & was given a "canned" response to check the FAQs for instructions for Chromecast. Chromecast won't work, when the ability to cast is disabled. Is this just for the trial? Why give a trial if I can't try it? I wouldn't trust that it would be different after a trial. |
| 2024-10-23 |  | | Used to work but after an update in June or so it has not been useful for running since a few seconds after my screen on my phone sleeps the video stops. It is not an issue with my phone since I first checked with that company. I then tried resolving the issue with obe customer service for months but they seemed to assume that I was having casting problems, which was not the issue. Now they have just stopped responding all together to any emails. It is very disappointing. |

About 4 times now, I will start a workout video and random music not associated with the class will start playing in the background of my phone. I can close all my apps, lock my phone, turn off wifi and blue tooth, and the only thing that gets it to stop is a restart. I got a brand new phone 2 days ago and my first time watching a video from obe on here it did it again! This time closing the app worked. I am 100% Sure it's this app |
| 2024-06-26 |  | | Update: they are no longer offering live stream classes which is the reason I subscribed to obé :(. I really like Obé! The live classes are great and really help me stick to a schedule. Waking up and joining a class first thing in the morning has been honestly a game changer. I do wish there were more classes available in the early afternoon though. Giving it 4 stars because the app is a little buggy and sometimes struggles to cast to my TV but it works like 4/5 times. |

It's especially frustrating during live classes, to the point that I use my laptop browser now for live classes to skip the disruption and annoyance . Also sometimes if I look at the description for one class but then choose to start another one it'll start playing the first class I looked at part way during the class I chose so I'll hear overlapping voices |

Crashes my Chromecast (forces it to reboot) 75% of the time (will eventually play after multiple retries), sound doesn't cast sometimes, app will get into some state where the episode is playing two copies at the same time on the phone, app will crash when starting a workout and when I go back in I have to search for the workout again. Wish there was a Roku app. |

I made the mistake of signing up on their website via credit card, and they want you to actually call them during business hours to cancel. I've sent a contact message and will be calling to cancel my subscription. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE if you want to just try out their videos! Go elsewhere with an easy to change or cancel subscription. This reeks of scammy behavior. |

BUT the app is TERRIBLE! It crashes constantly and must be uninstalled and reinstalled. This is a huge pain because the point of obe is that you can squeeze in a set when you're short on time. Reinstalling takes extra time I hadn't planned on. They do have a browser interface, but most of the content is driven through the app |
| 2022-07-19 |  | | I consistently have problems with this app (android) it will work for a while (been a member for 1.5 yrs) and then it glitches. After this new update my classes dont register. I was on a streak of over 150 days in a row and didnt realize it stopped. I have to now run the class again on my computer so it shows taken. Really a drag. Vip care never ever lets me know status or when something is fixed. I get the same canned response. Obe instructors are a 10. App and service a 2. |
| 2022-07-18 |  | | Mobile app is awful, all the buttons are scrambled, videos won't start, randomly closes and the play bar doesn't work so you can't get back to the point in the workout you were at. You try to make a video full screen and it skips 15 seconds instead, you try to press play and the video mutes, etc. It's a mess. |
