I have had this app for 5+ years and absolutely LOVED it! From the real time tracking to drawing routes, and being add free, it was spectacular! A recent update put many of the features that I loved (including seeing previous routes and route creation) behind a paywall. What started out as my favorite outdoor activity app has now been downgraded to a backup, inferior tracking app. I'm super bummed and don't think I will be using the app anymore.

I have been using Sports Tracker for over 5 years and I love the app! It gives me all kinds of data to track, analyze, and plan my workout routine. However, I have not found that it works with some of the newer, most popular heart rate monitors. It worked with my old Wahoo Tickr but not the Tickr X or the Polar H10. The app should be able to use any heart rate sensor that isn't using a proprietary connection. I'll have to stop paying for premium and switch apps if it doesn't get fixed 😭

Generally, it is a reliable app, but recently, it has not been tracking correctly. It jumps around, making straight lines between points (seemingly whenever I look at my phone to see if it's working or not) instead of actually tracking the path. It is very frustrating as I use this app to track hikes and want reliable tracks and collection of times/mileage.

Been using this app since 2013 and i have no issue with the app having free featurea as well as premium features. my issue is that some free features are NOW behind a pay wall. It's not as if the developer added new features as premium options but instead took free things I was used to and put them behind the paywall.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME (try Wahoo Fitness) Update 3/16 they've placed the few remaining useful features behind a paywall. I tried the rest, this is (WAS) the best - UPDATE 2/2023 a "bugfix" update took away the option to have "audio feedback" (e.g., laps) without a paid subscription. They also took away charts of progress (as if I can't log TSS and draw my own). They're free to to that, I suppose, but taking away features I've used for years is poor practice. No more recommendations from me.

You guys are pretty bad in functional - measurements are not correct, distances are wrong, vertical gain/loss is erroneous, and I would better say nothing about speed/pace measurements, they are behind the good and the bad. The only reason why I used you is voice output, which is now a "premium" feature. That is, you just broke the only reason why someone could prefer you to your competitors. So long!

It was a great app, I particularly liked how it would show all my rides in a single map, it was neat. Then, a few days ago it stopped saving my progress. I figured I'd try and update it --BAM! Everything is hidden behind a paywall now. As far as I can tell, the app now is a useless husk that does nothing if you don't pay for the premium version. It's not even that expensive, mind, but pulling this without any sort of warning is the mother of all dick moves. I'm uninstalling this. Good riddance.

This is what the update log shows for the most recent update: "This update includes various improvements and bug fixes." There is no mention that suddenly all of the features are now behind a pay wall. There are no improvements and only downgrades. This is unfortunate since this was such a great app. I would be willing to pay a flat rate for the features but I will not pay a monthly subscription. Time to look for a new tracking app after many many years of great service.

They've started moving foundational features - specifically audio feedback - behind the premium paywall. Some other comments suggest that may have been a bug that will be fixed in a future release; if so I'll come back and revert to my old 5 star review. But if not, I'm dumping the app. By all means, you can try to win me to the premium side by adding value / features. But not by taking it away.

This app went from great to horrible. They moved many of the great features (audio cues, comparisons to previous workouts, timeline graphics, etc) to a paid version. All of these features made this a great app and I was ok with having ads. Now they are making this a paid app. I will be moving on to a different app.
