2024-11-20 | Wilma Staton | This app is no good for your plants. I basically wanted an app to remind me to water or not water. It either keeps the plant too wet or too dry. They want you to upgrade to premium for money. Sad. Ok, so after rating this app my phone crashes, I have to have new phone. This app does not transfer data from one phone to the other or in my case it did not Also app told me there was no hope? for improvements for my plant care. I have let them all die except for a few, and will never use app again
2024-11-18 | Maydemia S. | Can't manually enter location. This app helps me remember to water my plants. I like that it has an customized watering schedule for each plant based on a variety of variables. The one thing I really don't like is that it doesn't have an option to manually enter my location (city and state is all it needs). Instead it asks for permission to access my location. It doesn't need to know where my phone is at all times. All the app needs is the city and state the plants are located in.
2024-11-14 | Mark Midmark | I really like the app, especially the detail in which I can describe the plants living conditions. It is missing some of my plants, but it has variants that are close enough. I would love to buy premium, but it isn't worth $40 a year in my opinion. I'd do $20 a year, or a lifetime membership, but not a $40 subscription.
2024-11-06 | Divya Rae (Cami) | Downloaded it to try and help save my dying plant, and it doesn't give you that option without a paid plan. As far as I can tell, aside from inputting the type of plant and location in/outside you home and adding a name and photo, all it does is remind you to water it. I do not need an entire app for that one feature.
2024-11-04 | Nicole Kwasiborski | I love this app. Actually the only one i like. The only bug I notice is that when you do not set a window setting but rather a grow light setting, it still says it's too dark, opting for you to put a window distance anyway. No problems other than that, and you can just turn off the grow light, put it on "in window," and then turn it back on. The only addition to this app i would really appreciate is allowing you to compile plants in the same pot. I got 2 with dif care dates but paired together
2024-10-12 | mindlessbuddha | UPDATED: If you have a lot of plants, this app is super helpful. I pay for premium. They keep making useful updates! It's getting much better. Still: 1) slow or never add recommended plants 3) can't create plants not in database 4) defaults to their choice of "common" names 5) cant seasonally bulk move plants between sites 6) watering algorithm too spaced out on small terracotta pots 7) cant adjust home temp, which changes watering needs 8) needs task to regularly turn plants for even growth.
2024-10-02 | Ellery Speckhals | This app is so helpful and, so far, definitely seems to be worth the subscription cost. One thing that I would love to see added is a way to track the schedule for systemic insect control, whether that be a dedicated tracker, or even a way to manually add a generic tracker on our own. Other than that, loving it so far and would highly recommend!
2024-09-12 | Katie Denton | Overall use of the app is great. I did pay as I wanted to use the light meter but I mostly needed this to keep track of names and when to fertilize. I've only added indoor plants but there's an option for outdoor plants. However, no greenhouse settings so I tried to set my site as a "covered porch" instead... wish there was more options for that. I'd also like to see better options for grow light settings and how they effect each plant. Otherwise, the app has been very helpful
2024-09-09 | April Valdez | easy to use, but says a lot of my tropical full sun plants are not suitable outdoors, like my coconut tree? had premium, but features kept getting errors and couldn't figure it out why it worked and didn't. scanner seems pretty accurate. I wish there was an option to change the date of entry when entering tasks for a site, and not enter individually.
2024-08-22 | Breeze M A N I A | I used to really like this app but I recently moved and now for some reason can no longer mark sites as rained. I don't honestly know if it happened with the latest update or not because I hadn't tried to do that for a couple weeks before the update. But either way I really liked being able to keep track of when my outdoor plants got rained on and I'm probably going to find another app if they don't bring this back. |
