| 2024-12-16 |  | | Love the concept of this app. Loved the prompts it generated and the creative writing challenges. I just wish it wasnt abandoned as it could use several quality of life updates. Particularly around saving your writings and around updating previous writing prompts and challenges. Would love to see this app be revived. |

I guess if writing quickly is your only goal it's okay but it doesn't even give you enough time on the first challenge to think and once the red bars start moving it ends so fast! You have to not think about the right word to use, a spelling mistake, or the quality of your writing. I just want a creatuve prompt journal |
| 2024-03-09 |  | | I did one prompt and was intrigued with how it's structured. I had to keep writing for the full minute. Otherwise, I would fail the challenge. I did it; felt stories flowing out of me. The minute was up, was cut off mid-sentence. Desperate to at least finish my sentence, I clicked continue writing. I was then blocked by an unskipable ad , and after that, I finished another small one. I got back in and started to write, paused for too long, and failed a challenge I didn't start intentionally. |
| 2024-03-04 |  | | Good app. Very nice so far, 3 stars because it doesn't really tell you what you're doing. After completing a challenge, it asked me if I wanted to keep writing. I selected yes, thinking it would just put me into a free editor with no time limit, but after zoning out for a bit I looked down and it had removed all the points I just won from the challenge. What the frick?? It never told me I was entering another challenge... Very infuriating and made me anxious. Kinda feels like a nitpick though. |
| 2023-10-29 |  | | Helping me to fight writers block! I haven't been able to write a word of my novel for over a month due to my own perfectionism, but this app has been a tremendous help! If you are stuck because you just can't relax your mind enough to just WRITE then this is perfect! (Btw, I haven't used any of the prompts yet, so I can't rate those.) |

I find myself using it very inconsistently though but when I do I write more then I would usually write in a month. The only thing I find frustrating is the point to unlock system, it doesn't allow me to challenge myself like I want to til I've reached a certain milestone. |
| 2022-08-15 |  | | This app is an effective way to force yourself to write, but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove ads. The ads won't be a dealbreaker for everyone, but they were distracting for me. Also, there are some in app purchases. Nothing that you can't unlock for free, but it's annoying that only 1 minute writing exercises are unlocked at the beginning. If those 2 things won't bother you, give this app a try. Otherwise, you may be better off setting your own timers to write. |
| 2022-07-11 |  | | Love it! I like that it is a setup where you just write as consecutively as possible. No agonizing over what word to choose or sentence structure or anything. Just WRITE. Which is what I need. My only complaint is that it's difficult to continue writing a prompt (some click and scroll issues) and it costs you points when you can't get it to scroll to the bottom, but you've managed to start the timer. And since you need points to get access to certain things... |

I don't want to un install , and lose my progress, but I think I'm going to have to. Edit: I un installed and reinstalled, and I did not lose my progress!! I'm so happy rn, changed the rating |
| 2022-04-18 |  | | Love being able to write, most times I struggle with what to write. Now when I want to write, there is no struggle. The only downfall, is the timing. If I'm trying to find the right punctuation it tells me that I stopped for to long. Which it feels like 5-10 seconds. I haven't timed it, but it isn't long. Maybe they could add more punctuation abilities, or extend the time for pausing between words. |
