Installed the App today & it's working great for me. I recommend it, at least if your default browser is Edge Chrome or related compatible browser. This runs as a web app. PRO: allows the Devs to control most everything on the server side. CON: Looks like it requires a compatible default browser. I suspect the poor reviews are related to: Unsupported default browsers; or Devs fixed the problems today with a server side update Hoping Dev/Support respond to the negative reviews

Useless stupid app, all it does is open a badly-designed webpage which also doesn't work, it keeps resetting the page every time I pause for a few seconds, can't buy anything with it. Horrible, awful, bad. Faster to just go to the store (Staples or somewhere else) in person rather than waste time trying to place an order with this miserable broken app.

Could be good, but overrun with annoyances. If you don't give the app notifications permissions-- which you DEFINITELY don't need -- it will pester you about it every time you interact with it. Your only options are 'enable notifications' and 'maybe later '. Apparently 'maybe later' really means ASK ME EVERY TIME I EVEN LOOK AT THIS APP. Additionally, it logs you out like ten minutes and requires you to do a squiggly letter verification every time you use it, which is just swell.

Stop the agenda! The (*) is obvious! Red/black/white color scheme. The only thing missing is the black and white checkered flooring. Requests to install a different app within the Staples app. Constantly hijacks screen trying to force sponsored products while trying to scroll through items. Better off using the Staples website instead.

I am Google Pixel 7. When I open the newest Staples App, it shows a QR code to download the same app I tried to open. It also says it is running in chrome (same as older Android phone (android 12) says. The older phone takes me to an app style interface. Not the phone using Android 14. It opens a PC browser style window. But it will only allow me to continue in PC mode. So not the same interface or options as those in the app view. I have messed with every possible related setting I can find.

Can't even start the app. It immediately wants to scan a QR code ON SCREEN, which most people don't know how to do, so that's a stopper right there. I know to take a screenshot and use a fairly unknown feature on my phone to scan the code. So what does the app do when the code is scanned? It reloads, and prompts you to scan the code again. Why you have to scan a code to enter an app is outrageous on its surface, but then zero entry is allowed. So I guess I'll just try the Office Depot app.

A very disappointing App. At first, it worked pretty well but suddenly it started glitching, by now, I can't even login anymore. Customer service was of no help. They were unfamiliar how to resolve thus problem. Instead of placing an order with Staples I had to place it with Amazon. I wish Staples would make it easier and more pleasant.

When the app works, it's great. However, oftentimes, when there is an update, I end up having to reinstall the app multiple times. Technical support is useless. They don't know how to work with the app or troubleshoot even the most basic of issues. I end up having to try and resolve my own technical problems. I'm an experienced technology professional in both software engineering and devices. Imagine how frustrating it would be for a non-technical person.

Total bugfest. It said there was a new version. So I updated, and when I open it, it loops back to say there's a new version. Then I can't log in. I have a Staples account. I give it my email address, and it wants to set me up as a new account. Complete fail. Uninstalling. Earlier was in February. Tried again today. Thinks I'm a new account and wants my company information. You'd have that if you'd just let me sign in.
