Hud, menus and Inventory is clunky. Would prefer to have more options, and not have to go into a character to be able to see my items. Makes selling off junk tedious. Also, wish that I could have a mdnu that shows me the rules and mechanics of stats, effects, and general gameplay in clear detail. Played both this, and the first dungeon princess title, and thus feature was sorely needed there too.
Art is very good, combat is similar to 1st one, dungeon exploration pretty unique but get bland over time & too grindy BS. It lacks lore and story that the 1st part had as the charm and the enemies get too unbalanced out of nowhere with the short timer where enemy tanks can just spam invincible buff and kill time till u die. Game felt like its lacking charm, enemy balancing, rewards. Its like a sandbox version with "part 2" slapped on it. Previous MCs dont exist too, +low effort pixel changes
So far the game is quite enjoyable but the gems (dia) system is quite cucked, there should be a watch ads to gain dia system as even with the artifacts which are purely rng based, it's hard to farm them. The combat overall is niche though it seems it's better to focus on lvling one or 2 spells and the rest can actually be ignored. The loot system is fine but the promotion system is again cucked with an unreal amount of gems being required.
